Translation issue re citation

The quoted translation is not the same as the translation provided in the cited work. The translation in the article is very similar, but not the same. For example, the beginning of the quotation in this article parallel to the same lines from cited source (minus line numbers and the side-by-side Aramaic differences):
Wiki: " To Adad, the canal inspector of heaven and earth, who causes it to rain abundance, who gives well-watered pastures to the people of all cities, [...]"
Cite: " To Adad, controller of water in heaven and earth, who rains down wealth, provides well-watered pasture for people everywhere, [...]"

Hi Imeriki al-Shimoni, thank you for this. The currently language in the article matches the text from Mieroop, Marc Van De (3 August 2015). A History of the Ancient Near East, ca. 3000-323 BC. John Wiley & Sons. p. 241. ISBN 978-1-118-71816-2.

Van De Mieroop quotes Greenfield and Shaffer, but changed it. No explanation is given by Van De Mieroop unfortunately. Onceinawhile (talk) 07:01, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
