Chief of the Defence Staff (India)
- ... that India is creating the post of Chief of the Defence Staff twenty years after it was officially suggested? Source: "India to finally get chief of defence staff, 20 yrs after it was mooted." [1], [2]
Created by DiplomatTesterMan (talk) and DBigXray (talk). Nominated by DBigXray (talk) at 12:57, 22 August 2019 (UTC).
- Article is new, large enough, nominated timely. It is well written and well sourced. No copyvios are found. QPQ was done. @DiplomatTesterMan and DBigXray: I have two questions. 1) The hook says "India created" but if I read the article correctly, the post has not yet been created. Perhaps change the wording to "is creating" or "decided to create"? 2) No offense, but do you really want to credit DBigXray as co-creator? All he did was add a couple of categories. Even the QPQ was done by DiplomatTesterMan. This is not a disqualifying issue; I will go along with whatever you decide. -- MelanieN (talk) 18:32, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
- 1) I have replaced "India created" with "India is creating" as per MelanieN review suggestion.
- 2) I have no issues with DBigXray being a co-nom. This wouldn't have been a DYK nomination unless DBigXray remembered on time. Unless DBigXray has a problem with being a co-nom and wants to remove themself?

- DiplomatTesterMan thank you for showing your big heart, I have no problem with the co-nom. MelanieN our discussion over this DYK is spread over multiple talk pages (other than the article talk). Both DTM and myself had started our DYK journey together and most of our DYKs have been joint collaboration. Thanks for the kind review. Regards.DBigXrayᗙ 06:12, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
