Hi! I am an editor who is updating existing Wikipedia material about historical individual captive killer whales by examining sources more closely, including more recent publications. Killer whales is the only topic I will touch, as it is the topic in which I am currently most well-read.

I have a Literature and Creative Writing double major, with a little experience in journalism, and a lot in teaching English. Some old study of software development is part of my background, too.

Though I am not a scientist, I closely follow the work of the leading scientists in the field, across all types of media, and I endeavor to faithfully reflect the science. Two people whose writing I particularly admire are Lynda Mapes and Carl Safina.
