sandbox
[edit]I edited your sandbox because it was listed at Lint errors: Multiple unclosed formatting tags. While I was there, as detailed in the edit summary, I fixed:
<i>...<i> → <i>...</i>
: The multiple unclosed format tag lint errordashes
: See: MOS:DASH- what researchers have long suspected—killer whales depend more on sound and balance for navigating than they do on sight
- "It presented a higher density of convolutions" than a human brain—"a feature often used to distinguish intelligence."
- He talked "almost non-stop"—unsurprisingly for his type of killer whale
- the years 1956–1961 (See: (MOS:ENTO)
- (1906–1994)
nonbreaking space before unit abbrev (g, cm; cps; kg)
(See: MOS:NBSP)
My changes were by the book, to fix lint errors and to comply with the manual of style, while preserving your words exactly and preserving the appearance almost exactly. Now that you have reverted, your sandbox is listed again at Lint errors: Multiple unclosed formatting tags and some other editor may come along and fix it again. —Anomalocaris (talk) 01:36, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation. I will now take the precaution of removing all content from the sandbox when I have to down tools. Of course it would be more efficient to have a real workspace that is invisible to everyone else until I submit it for review. Is there any way I can do this? - It's usually best to continue a discussion on one talk page, so I moved your comment from my talk page to your talk page. Also, you put your comment on my talk page at the top; the usual way is to put new comments at the bottom, which is what happens if you click on "new section".
- I don't know of a way to create pages on Wikipedia that can't be seen by other users. —Anomalocaris (talk) 17:34, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
