Why did you make this change? There has been a long consensus that this line can stay, so why did you just introduce a self-reference? smoddy 20:20, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- Great, sorry to have leapt down your throat. smoddy 20:41, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I really don't understand what that huge argument is about, but only the basis of the template is there and it does take you to the Portal:Cricket page. Phoenix2 20:44, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I can't say I understand it either. At first glance, your change was reminiscent of a change by another editor that resulted in a major edit war, so I hope I can be forgiven for my assumptions. smoddy 20:52, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I didn't understand that there was controversy surrounding the issue until a moment afterwards, but I can say that this will not result in an edit war because I didn't really have a problem with the page the way it was, I just like the consistent look of that template. Phoenix2 20:55, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Peer review on IFK Göteborg
Hi, as you're both a native English speaker and interrested in football (soccer...), I'd be very happy if you could help on peer reviewing the IFK Göteborg article at Wikipedia:Peer review/IFK Göteborg/archive1. I've got some input on the article already, but we would be happy to see anyone that knows football to review it also. It would be great I you could take a look at the comments and at the article if you have got time over. -- Elisson | Talk 22:35, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Yes, I could help with peer reviewing this article. Phoenix2 01:22, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)
You added a cleanup to this page. I've attempted to do that. Do you have any further concerns about the article? --agr 19:28, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Nope, it looks good. The notice can be removed. There were just some minor grammar/style things. Phoenix2 19:29, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

response from London
Uwe wants to share this with you (from his talk page):
Hello Kils
Just would like to state that i have very much enjoyed being involved in a project of this nature. To see the speed of co-operation between various people was (Uwe, Lupo and Salleman and all others) fantastic. It was a complete buzz to go off researching about a scientific subject and coming to some understanding and appreciation of a creature that i would have no knowledge or interest in otherwise. I would like to say that it takes a damn good teacher to get others interested in what they teach and i for one, if only in a rudimentary and general way have found the subject of Krill and sorrounding issues of ecology and environment fascinating. I think that says a lot about your willingness to let others participate in something which you obviously have great knowledge in and could easily have been a lot less humble with. At some point i will put up some informtion on my home page so at least people know a little more about me. Am going to try to extend the article on Ice-algae so any info you may have would be good. I hope the article on Antartic Krill gets featured as i think it is now very good.
Wikiversity sounds like a good idea but will need more time to go through the proposal (not too sure what help i could be).
Once again thanks Uwe! Yakuzai 22:50, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Could you perhaps fix the grammar issues you mention? While grammar is important, I think such problems can be fixed in few minutes by any native speaker, and it would be a shame if such a comprehensive article failed due to few minor grammar issues. Your thoughts on potential Featured Article
I wanted to inform you that the History of Poland Featured Article nomination has been reset and is now at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/History of Poland (1945-1989). In the old one, you said there were too many grammatical problems. One reason for this is the article was not primarily written by a native speaker of English but by a Pole. It's been rewritten a little, so it was re-nominated. So you of course have the option of weighing in on the new nomination if you want to. Ruy Lopez 05:53, 11 July 2005 (UTC)
Title says it all. Hope you join in, as you have helped me a lot on both the PR and FAC of IFK Göteborg and on the football portal! -- Elisson • Talk 20:37, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
You supported my nomination of the Mark Felt article and I wonder if I could get your support on another FBI article up as a FAC, Helen Gandy, who was Hoover's secretary for five decades. PedanticallySpeaking 21:03, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
list of white supremacists
Hi Phoenix. I have put list of white supremacists up on VFD; or tried to, anyway. I seem to have fouled things up pretty spectacularly; the notice is on the page, and there is a section created for the VFD discussion, but the two do not appear to be linked. I wondered if you could sort things out for me, since you suggested that you might put it up for VFD yourself anyway. My apologies; I have trouble assembling baby toys also. Cleanup
- You added a cleanup template to Big O Tires. The current article isn't very informative, but I think that's covered by the stub template. A need for more detailed information isn't what I understand by "cleanup". What kind of cleaning up do you see as needed? JamesMLane 09:28, 18 July 2005 (UTC)
thanks for supporting me
Hello, just a quick note to express my gratitude for your support of my RfA. I'm sure I'll become a familiar face on places like the Administrator's Noticeboard and Requests for Adminship, as well as the murkier parts of my new job. "From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." (Luke 12:48, NIV) Never was a truer word spoken. I feel empowered, yes, but not in the "oooh cool delete button!" way I was kind of expecting. Already I feel the weight of the responsibility I have now been entrusted with, a weight that will no doubt reduce given time. Thank you for believing in me. :) GarrettTalk 10:16, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
You were kind enough to support my nominating of Helen Gandy as a featured article and I wonder if you would look at my newest FAC, Tom Brinkman. The voting page is at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Tom Brinkman/archive1. PedanticallySpeaking 14:51, July 29, 2005 (UTC)

Dragonfly list
Thanks for your comments on List of Dragonfly species recorded in Britain. Some work has been done on the page in response - could you take another look and let me know what you think? Not a lot I can do about the redlinks without a big investment of time (other than creating lots of stubs, I suppose). However, part of the reason for creating this page was to encourage other people to create pages on the individual species so that I wouldn't have to! Many thanks - SP-KP 18:04, 15 August 2005 (UTC)
Disambiguation
Thank you for helping with disambiguation link repair, but please try to repair more carefully. For example, in Lurgan you changed Irish to point to Ireland, when really it should refer to Irish language. Make sure you consider all options before picking one. Generally, using the name of the actual country is a last resort when no other option is appropriate. I'm sure this was only a momentary slip. Thank you and happy damming! Back Again
You supported my W. Mark Felt FAC nomination. I'm grateful and though it was successful. I've got another FAC now, the next congresswoman from Ohio, Jean Schmidt. The FAC page is here. I hope to get it featured by September 6, the day she will be sworn in. I'd appreciate your support. PedanticallySpeaking 17:26, August 23, 2005 (UTC) (P.S. If you are worried about the "fair use" of her picture, when she's sworn, we'll be able to replace it with a nice U.S. government public domain photo.)
