Al Qaeda

[edit]

Adam Pearlman is not part of Al-Qaeda. Just because he saw and talked with an Al-Qaeda member doesnt mean he is part of Al-Qaeda. and there is no proof of Adam in Pakistan in order to put that up you must provide refference from Pakistan view as well not only America. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thileepanmathivanan (talkcontribs) 16:49, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this article is not a copy write violation as I am the author and I retain copywrite. Please re-instate the article.--Bebadda (talk) 20:31, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you nominating articles for deletion without clarifying from the authors first.? I have not done anything wrong or violated any copywrite since its all my work and I hold copywrite and I am being put through hell and am absolutely fed up --Bebadda (talk) 21:11, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great minds think alike? :)

Hi Aecis - I'd just moved Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands to Christiansted, United States Virgin Islands and was preparing to do the same with some other USVI settlements, and... they were all done within the last ten minutes! Grutness...wha? 12:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Careersingear.com

[edit]

I am not quite sure why this page needed to be deleted. This website/publication is well known and has done some featured articles on some of the biggest names in the transportation industry. I'd ask that you reconsider your deletion of the page and if not, please help me make this article more wiki-friendly. Many thanks. -mharr066- (talk) 14:19, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Darrin Dykes

aXXo

[edit]

What was the main reason for removing the aXXo page? He's well known, and though it might not entirely legal, we make pages about Al Capone too. So, why? Has WP been threatened by the RIAA? comment added by --Brian Tjoe-Nij (talk) 05:29, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Church of the Saviour.Washington, DC

[edit]

I believe you were TOO HASTY in your deletion of this content. Church of the Saviour in Washington DC is a phenomenon in and of itself over the last 60 years. We at the Potter's House (its first outreach) get visitors all over the world - New Zealand, Korea as well as all over the country. We have 5 to 10 books written about us. I have had several visitors say "I tried to look you up on Wikipedia but you weren't there" WE are far more significant historically regarding church structures and formations (professors use our history in mainstream, Protestant seminaries) than the Emerging church. Please help us to be defined on Wikipedia and don't be a barrier to our defining ourselves. Meadejh (talk) 16:19, 14 January 2008 (UTC)--Meadejh (talk) 16:19, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Meade[reply]

Canvassing

[edit]

I'm informing them, not posting an opinion. As there doesn't seem to be a resolution to the RFC, I figured, more participation might do it. 132.205.44.5 (talk) 23:26, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

discussion should first contact related WikiProjects - which is what I did. 132.205.44.5 (talk) 23:28, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible edit warring on project article

[edit]

There seems to be some issues going on over on the article : Military history of African Americans, in particularly in the section Military history of African Americans#Confederate States Army. Could you take a look at the article's edit history as well as the discussion, Talk:Military history of African Americans, and possibly give some input? Thanks. Sf46 (talk) 00:17, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry. I read on the canvassing link that you provided, and thought (from what I read there) that I was ok in sending the information to members of the Wikiproject Militray History who were listed as having interest in the Civil War. If this is not the case, then I will stop. Please let me know. Sf46 (talk) 00:43, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Initially I was writing to each member until you notified me that it was incorrect. I then read the link you gave and began writing only to those listed as interest in the Civil War, which I thought was within the policy. Sf46 (talk) 00:59, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Independent Schools Barbarians Page

[edit]

The Independent Schools Barbarians is a major new development in English Schools Rugby - supported by the English Rugby Football union as highlighted in the reference. It is also supported by the Irish Rugby Football Union against whom we recently played a fixture - please reconsider the deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tezzafridge‎ (talkcontribs)

I'd be very interested to know why you deleted the above? I was enjoying reading this well written article. I was about to try and improve it as I'd completely agree that it was not encyclopedic, but it was about a very significant development in English Rugby! I would ask you to reconsider. Paste (talk) 21:57, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Paste has asked for a deletion review of Independent Schools Barbarians. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article, speedy-deleted it, or were otherwise interested in the article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Paste (talk) 22:20, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I hope that I've completed this correctly?Paste (talk) 22:23, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks. Paste (talk) 08:37, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

re. Darko Trifunovic

[edit]

I appreciate your vigilance on the Darko Trifunovic article. There appears to be quite an online campaign by to discredit him. All of them are from January 2008, which only strengthens the impression that they are part of an organized campaign. It would be sad if Wikipedia were used in this campaign (wether the allegations are true or not). Some of the examples:
