Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop posting the same image in the main Infobox, as it is already being used in the third generation section and the picture quality is not good enough to mainly represent the article Areaseven (talk) 01:37, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Hyundai Elantra, you may be blocked from editing. If you're suggesting that older generations of the car are still in production, you really need to explain that on the talk page and provide some solid sources to back that claim up.C.Fred (talk) 00:04, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Rebecca (Thomas & Friends has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:FANCRUFT: Non-notable newly introduced fictional character who doesn't need to be covered in their own article

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. IP sockpuppetry

[edit]

Given that you've been caught previously editing while logged out to avoid being sanctioned for edit warring and other disruption, you should know better than to attempt it again. --Sable232 (talk) 21:18, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Sable232: That is because, I was using a different computer and I forgot to log in. I will remember next time though. Ee2mba (talk) 21:05, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Despite the first-gen being built on the platform of the mid-size Dodge Dakota, it's noticeably bigger the Ford Explorer or Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. And fundamentally, the Durango is meant to compete with the Expedition and Tahoe. And at the time, Explorers lacked the third-row seating, that was not added until 2002. And S-10 Blazers never got third-row seating.

As for the current-gen, it is clearly bigger than the Explorer, new Blazer, and outgoing Journey, and even though it's unibody, it's not a crossover. Just like the BMW X7 and Range Rover, it's built on its own dedicated platform, as opposed to a truck platform like the Expedition or Tahoe. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.57.183.127 (talk) 16:47, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it is. But, the thing is, the Explorer and Blazer were based on compact trucks and that is the reason the Durango is larger. The third gen Explorer is almost identical in size to the 1998-03 Durango. The Durango had 5-7 seats. The 98-03 is just like the Trailblazer EXT and Explorer (3 row). Same with the Commander. The third gen Dakota shared a platform with the Ram. The third gen Durango is similar in size to the GLE Class. Just stop. And also, I think I found that FCA website you were talking about. But, can you please stop removing references. Ee2mba (talk) 18:01, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, as log as you stop calling it a crossover, and on the page, it says (DN; 1997), not (DN; 1998). Then again, the GLS-Class, as well as every GM full-size SUV produced prior to 2015, has only 5-7 seats too. The Durango, wether it's the first-gen from 1998 to 2003, the second-gen from 2004 to 2009, or the current-gen from 2011 onwards, you could say it is indeed full-size.

@Muboshgu: Harris’s looks much better in that image. And tell me this, if Harris becomes VP then, will you use her 2021 office portrait or her 2017 one? Ee2mba (talk) 23:37, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I just told you that the standard for politicians is to use their most recent official headshot. She is not a car. People age. Whenever she gets a new portrait, as VP or Senator, it will replace the current one. The process of WP:BRD is not BRR. If you are reverted, you should discuss. It is disappointing that you were just blocked for edit warring yesterday and are engaging in the same behavior. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:41, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No reliable sources can be found to back up the assertion that this was ever called the "M platform" by GM. "M" is the VIN code for these vans, but GM used a separate VIN system for their truck lines so there is no correlation between a letter in the VIN and a platform code.

@Sable232:I understand. Idk what went through when creating that page. I think it would be better off being merged into Chevrolet Astro. 2008 Dodge Ram (talk) 17:39, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Merging would be a bad idea, as there isn't any unique content to merge, and the title is erroneous so it shouldn't exist even as a redirect. --Sable232 (talk) 18:05, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as User:2008 Dodge Ram/Presidential Transition of Kamala Harris, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I apologize, I meant to make this a sandbox page - 2008 Dodge Ram (talk) 16:37, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves

[edit]

If you don't know what you're doing, don't move a page. Ever. Page moves are almost never time-critical, so flying in to move BrightDrop Zevo to Chevrolet BrightDrop immediately after GM's announcement just made a mess since you unchecked the "Move associated talk page" box. There will probably never be a reason for you to not move a talk page along with its article. Next time, please start a move discussion on the talk page instead. --Sable232 (talk) 15:18, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sable232I sincerely apologize for the mess made. Moving forward I will try to do it with more attention. Thank you 2008 Dodge Ram (talk) 22:16, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
