Thanks very much for finding the pronunciation for this name. I really appreciate it. Jonyungk (talk) 22:53, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I've been asked to submit the article Royal National College for the Blind for FAC by PaulLargo, who is currently away for personal reasons and therefore unable to do it himself. I notice the last review was concluded with a request to submit the article again, but to notify those who had contributed to the discussion to determine whether they had any major objections to it being put forward again. Since the last FAC I've done some minor work on expanding it and, along with another user, have added more images. I feel it's probably ready for submission again, but wanted to run it past those who reviewed it last time before completing the nomination. If there are no objections by Monday 26 July I'll assume everything is ok and submit the FAC and wait for comments. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 14:48, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- I will be happy take a look over the weekend and share any comments. My first question is if there is a talk page diff showing that you consulted with PaulLargo. I do not doubt that you have, nor do I doubt that he wants this to come back to FAC, but it is the first thing some reviewers look at and many an FAC is archived immediately if the significant contributors have not been consulted. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 17:21, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for responding. This was the original request he posted me a few weeks ago. I replied on his talk page, but haven't got round to doing anything about it till now (I wanted to familiarise myself with the topic before I put it forward for FAC where I'd probably have to do some work on it). I'll post everything on the request when I open it next week and should hopefully be able to deal with any changes/updates that are needed. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 17:33, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've made a number of comments on the article talk page in the spirit of what my comments at FAC might be. I hope you find them helpful. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 19:22, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hi again. Thanks for the comments. Some very useful suggestions in there which I think would improve the article dramatically. I'm not sure if I'll be able to address everything that's been raised (e.g., the impact on former students might prove to be a bit difficult), but I'll do as much as I can from the list this afternoon then put it forward this evening. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 11:18, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- ok, I think I've done everything I can with this for now with the sources that are available. I'll put it forward and see what happens. Thanks for checking through the article and making the suggestions. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 19:40, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- One thing I may still need to do though is work on the lead, but I can do that over the next few days while the FAC is open. TheRetroGuy (talk) 20:08, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi again. I've sorted most of the things you've mentioned at the FAC and am about to start expanding the lead. Just one or two things I'm not certain about though so was wondering if you could help.
- School age students - I'm not sure of the best way to approach this since the school leaving age in Britain has changed several times over the years. In the Victorian era people left school at 12, and it was later raised to 14 (which I think it still was at the end of the war). This seems an ambiguous statement to me and without access to the reference I can't check it. Would it be better to take it out?
- It seems an important point, since it was a major change in focus for the school. It says here that the leaving age in 1944 was 15 and secondary education began at 11. The reference is here. Perhaps say that before WWII, the school admitted 11 to 15 year olds, but aftercame to and agreement with Worcester...."
- "Outstending" appears to originate from this press release posted by the college. Again I'm not sure of the best way to approach this.
Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 15:55, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- There is a better reference here. All the reports are available as PDFs.
- --Nasty Housecat (talk) 18:42, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for finding those. I should be able to add quite a lot of information from them. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 19:34, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Shimer College seal and logo on User Talk pages
You recently used the Shimer College seal and logo on several User Talk pages. While it's very nice of you to thank those editors for their role in helping improve the article, can you please go back and remove the college's seal and logo from those Talk pages? Sorry but it's not fair use! Thanks! ElKevbo (talk) 04:38, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

I will be glad to look at it - is it at PR or would you rather have the comments on the article talk page? It will take me a few days. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:04, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

- Thanks for the thorough review. I have taken your comments to heart and made the changes. I am still musing the video issues, since the source is one of the best available for commentary on the curriculum (where sources are otherwise scant) but may be problematic for the reasons you point out. I will think about that and leave it at PR for a short while in case another reviewer wants to comment. I expect to list it at FAC this coming week and will certainly ping you when I do. Many thanks again. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 00:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello Nasty Housecat:
I am seeking a few active volunteers with your expertise to assist with peer review of the logos page and I am hoping that you might help. Please see Wikipedia:Peer_review/Logos/archive1 for details on this request.
Thanks!

Just regards your oppose on The Judd School FAC, is this actionable? If I went through and removed all claims not directly related to the school, or found other sources, would this satisfy your concerns?
Incidentally I got back from the library a few hours ago and the book was printed by Staples Printers, Rochester. It was published by Impress Print Consultancy Ltd, 6 Newton Avenue, Tonbridge, Kent, TN10 4RR, which Google Street View suggests is a residential building. I do not believe that the book was published by the school, but indeed the forward suggests profits would be donated to the school.
I further do not believe that there are any alternative sources; I have spent days trawling through all the local and country libraries, newspaper archives and the internet. I understand concerns about reliable sources, but surely this is just an employee writing a book about his previous employer. Furthermore, he does not cover in any detail the most recent period the school; "The involvement of the author in the events of this chapter makes comments invidious, so there will be more in the way of figures and analyses".
Anyway thanks for reviewing, and I hope this issue can be adequately resolved because I spent a regrettably long time, and a lot of hard work on this article. Cheers, Tom (talk) 14:12, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have replied on the review page. Kindly, --Nasty Housecat (talk) 15:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hi there. Just to let you know I have done some work on The Judd School and added alternative sources. Although the article still relies on Taylor, I am confident that this cannot be helped any further. I spent about 3 hours in libraries looking for alternative sources, and although I found some, there are to my knowledge no more. I hope that you will consider your oppose on this article, and hopefully strike or support as appropriate. I'd like to do some work on other school articles to get them to FA, so I hope this issue can be resolved for the benefit of all british school articles. Thanks, Tom (talk) 23:18, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Hi NH! Dealt with all your points now I think. I'm conscious that you have spent a lot of time reviewing this article so thanks! If I can ever return the favour, please don't hesitate to ask. Regards, Tom (talk) 22:32, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Kent, Ohio FAC
I was wondering if you had any further comments at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Kent, Ohio/archive2. I ask because the FAC has pretty much come to a screeching halt and the last FAC ended up failing mostly because of how long it was taking. Appreciate any comments and/or suggestions you may have as well as comments on the changes I made in response to your previous comments. Thanks! --JonRidinger (talk) 03:30, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- You have all my comments now. I don't think I have anything else I can add. I am sure consensus will resolve any remaining issues. All the best. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 16:49, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your time, efforts, and suggestions. I don't mean to come across nearly as contentious as I think I do...I'm definitely of the stubborn variety. :) --JonRidinger (talk) 17:14, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

- Thanks for the heads up. I am honestly shocked to see this article at FAC. It has no business being there, of course. I can't argue with your sourcing comments. Some of these were raised (and at one point corrected) in one of the many GA and peer reviews. But a lot of them clearly don't check out. I see your point on the POV statements, but I think most of those are pretty mild and easily corrected. But in my experience with this very inexperienced editor, he may not know what to do about a GAR. I tend to agree it should lose the GA if the sourcing issues are not cleaned up once and for all, but I will the let the GAR unfold as it will before I jump in, if at all. Appreciate you letting me know. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 04:42, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

pep talk for Benny the mascot
Hi Nasty Housecat! Nice to meet you... This might be of interest to you. Let's see what happens! Edge3 (talk) 17:11, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- Alas, it seems that I am getting really busy already, so I will have to go on break (again). I'll try to write up a proper response to all this soon, but for now I'll see if I can get Benny back here through Facebook. Cheers! Edge3 (talk) 22:08, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Inlines
You did this all in one edit, so I can't decipher what you did. I have a lot of questions that I can't answer for myself, since some of the sources aren't online, so I'll put them on the FAC tomorrow. I'm familiar with pre-professional performing arts schools, and some things aren't clear to me. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:19, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yikes. Not sure what happened to that diff. I only made three small changes: (1) I changed the reference to competitions to say that students are encouraged to participate and deleted the "prestigious" part. (2) I replaced "recent" with "since 2008" and (3) I added an inline comment that the section refers only to students and faculty, not alumni. I am not sure what sources you are looking for, but the sources for the section you commented on actually are online, including the student handbooks.
- OK, thanks: that helps! (you can remove my inlines). I still have a lot of questions, but I'm too tired to get to them tonight, so I'll look again tomorrow when my brain is fresher :) Hopefully! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:33, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I am traveling IRL tomorrow and won't be able to check in again until late, but I will check in. Thanks. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 03:41, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Re-thinking this, I'll put my questions on the article talk page. Since Karanacs is recused because she reviewed the FAC (I wish I had :), I don't want to stall the FAC with my questions, but do want to be sure we address my questions before closing the FAC. 'Til tomorrow-- nice work. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 03:43, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry you got the double-whammy! It was just a quirky thing that happened, probably my fault. I've been very busy, FAC is backlogged, so Karanacs started reviewing some to get things moving. She knows to leave baseball, medicine, Spanish-language, and a few other topics to me, but she had no way of knowing that I know performing arts schools. I should have glanced at it sooner to save her the trouble, and avoid the situation of both delegates weighing in. Good progress there ... I'll do more tomorrow ... tired ! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:18, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- I am actually strangely honored. No one ever cares about school articles. That's why I write them. But you two are a tough jury ;-) Thanks again for the comments. Look forward to your responses.
- I'll review and strike more tomorrow-- in between two breakfast dates (how did I manage that?) and a lunch date. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:55, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
I'm out for the evening-- it's looking good! SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:28, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- NH, I'm wondering why you made this URL change? The SPCA site contains copyvios, and the Ohio State site seems more stable and is an independent source. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 15:17, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- SG. The SCPA link is to the 2007-08 report card, which has the ACT data. The Ohio link is to the 2009-10 report card which does not. I did mess it up a bit, but have fixed it now. The 2007 report is now cited only for the ACT data.--Nasty Housecat (talk) 15:23, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Benet sourcing
Fortunately I have the entire day off tomorrow, so I'll have time to resolve some issues that came up in Benet's FAC. Are there any referencing problems that you see in the article, especially the History section? I still have a few books that I can skim through for information. Let me know!
On a related note, I've been quietly asking around about the real identity of Benny the mascot, but it seems that he hid his identity very carefully. Did you ever get a chance to view his work on Wikinews, though? My guess is that he's from Naperville. Edge3 (talk) 23:54, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- The big problem was an over-reliance on web sources, particularly those of the school/abbey/university. There are still a lot of university web sources. It would be better if some of them could be replaced. I have not had much time to work on it, other then tweak the captions a bit, but I am following. The book sources really strengthen the article. If there are more, that would be great. When you feel like you have taken it as far as you can/feel like, I will do a thorough copyedit and see how things look.
- Some of the sources are duplicated and should be consolidated. If you are not sure how to do that, let me know and I can help.
- For some reason I always thought Benny was a girl. No reason why. If he ever reappears, I hope he is not offended.
--Nasty Housecat (talk) 01:40, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- I can certainly help out with replacing the web sources with book sources, but the ones I have right now came from the abbey and college. The duplicated source you saw was published by the university, and the other was published by the abbey. Sadly I've found no unbiased sources that cover the history of Benedictines in the US with as much detail as the Benedictines themselves did. (Which really shouldn't be too surprising, as the Benedictines have had a reputation for recording things very well.) Hopefully this won't be too much of a problem during FAC.
- Yeah I really don't know what to do with the sources when I have different page numbers to cite; would you please help me out?
- hmmm...well "Benny" to me sounds a bit masculine, but you never really know! Edge3 (talk) 04:28, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

DYK for Monadnock Building
On 18 November 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Monadnock Building, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the staircases in the 1891 Monadnock Building in Chicago (pictured) were the first use of aluminum in a building? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Saint Anselm College
Hi Nasty Housecat! I don't know if you remember me but my name is Eric and I was responsible for the Saint Anselm College article to get promoted to a GA while you reviewed it. Someone is trying to change the infobox picture saying the picture of the building is not adequate and the official logo has to be there. Now, I know you let it pass GA with the image that was there and that I took. There is an on going discussion on the Saint Anselm College's talk page now about this. Can you weigh in?
Thanks! Ericci8996 (talk) 21:54, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey Nasty Housecat! I've noticed that your contribution levels have been quite low lately... I hope everything is all right in real life! If you're unavailable, I'm ready to address more concerns on the Benet FAC if needed. Edge3 (talk) 17:55, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- Everything is peachy, thanks. Now that Monadnock Building is through FAC I am just thinking about what to work on next. Maybe another Chicago building, although the research is daunting and I do not have as much time as I would like. I think you are managing the comments on the Benet FAC quite nicely and have really felt no need to say anything at this point. Rest assured that I am watching and I will jump in if I think I can/need to help. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 06:13, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- [2] It looks like we weren't prepared enough... :( Quite frankly I was surprised to see this decision come in so quickly! Edge3 (talk) 21:58, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Apparently, when there is a backlog, they just close anything that has been up for two weeks with no supports. Frankly, that's a new one one me and I have had other FACs go a lot longer than that, but it is what it is. You have to wait two weeks before renominating. I suppose I should have posted notices on the relevant projects that the article was at FAC and pinged the previous reviewers. I didn't think about it this time, but it would be a good idea next time. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 03:03, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- [2] It looks like we weren't prepared enough... :( Quite frankly I was surprised to see this decision come in so quickly! Edge3 (talk) 21:58, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

March 2011 GAN backlog elimination drive a week away
WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of March. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 50. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, we hope we can see you in March. MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 00:08, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
John Carlisle Rape
Hi, I am John Carlisle the former principal accused of rape at SCPA. I do request that the word rape be removed from the article and the fact I was cleared put back in. I understand your point. The girl that made the accusation resolved my lawsuit against her in December. Part of what she agreed to was a court order signed by the judge ordering the word rape removed from the record. I can provide you with a copy of that court order if you would like. Thank You.Marshallsig (talk) 07:09, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments. I have copied them to the article talk page and replied there. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 00:23, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Main page appearance
Hello! This is a note to let the main editors of this article know that it will be appearing as the main page featured article on May 11, 2011. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/May 11, 2011. If you think it is necessary to change the main date, you can request it with the featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions of the suggested formatting. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :D Thanks! Shimer College is a small, private, undergraduate liberal arts college in Chicago. Founded by Frances Wood Shimer in 1853 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois, it was a women's school for most of its first century. It joined with the University of Chicago (U. of C.) in 1896, and became one of the first junior colleges in the country in 1907. In 1950, it became a co-educational four-year college, took the name Shimer College, and adopted the Hutchins Plan of Great Books and Socratic seminars then in practice at the U. of C. The U. of C. relationship ended in 1958. Shimer enjoyed national recognition and strong growth in the 1960s but was forced by financial problems to abandon its campus in 1978. It then moved to Waukegan, IL, remaining there until 2006, when it moved to the National Register of Historic Places-listed campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology in the Bronzeville neighborhood in the Douglas community area of Chicago. Classes are exclusively small seminars in which students discuss original source material rather than textbooks. The Early Entrant Program, in place since 1950, allows students who have not yet completed high school to start college early. Shimer has the highest rate of doctoral productivity of any liberal arts college in the country. (more...)
About Shimer College - History
Hi, I am Mihara57, from Taipei, Taiwan. I and JHH755 (Shenzhen, China) are translating and editing 诗默学院(Shimer College), it's a Chinese version. But we have a problem now, we can't understand "a battle over what some saw as a right-wing attempt to take over its board and administration"(Who's Buying Shimer? - Chicago Reader), what's the meaning of this? JHH755 suppose "a battle... saw as" is "See-Saw Battle" ,But I think it's "see as". And "over" is "end"? Or other meanings? Hope you can help us, thanks. --Mihara57 (talk) 17:33, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
- How exciting that the article will be translated into Chinese! I see how the sentence is confusing. I will try to clarify. It means that there was a struggle for power (a battle) within the school. Many people believed (saw) that the president and some of the trustees had formed a politically very conservative (right wing) faction and were attempting to take control of the school for their own purposes. And that was what the battle was about (over). I hope this helps. Let me know if I can help further. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 20:32, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for your explanation, and it very clear. Ok! If we have some problems, we will ask you. Thanks you again. --Mihara57 (talk) 05:32, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
About Shimer College - Great Books program
"These sequences were capped by work in philosophy and history". Is it means "History and Philosophy of Western Civilization"? And I can't understand 'cap by', what's the meaning of this? Thanks. --Mihara57 (talk) 03:52, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- "History and Philosophy of Western Civilization" would be fairly accurate."Capped by" means culminated in or were completed by courses in history and philosophy. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 23:11, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Benet FLC
Hi Nasty Housecat! Just FYI, Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Benet Academy alumni/archive1 is approaching the end of the FLC queue and needs a few more comments. I know that you've been inactive/semi-retired for a while, but if you have any time, I would really appreciate your input. (Though to be honest, I'm not quite sure how much weight your statements would carry, given that you've edited the article before.) Edge3 (talk) 03:40, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry. I've been following the nom and it seems to be progressing nicely. Good work. I've held back since I am both involved with the article and not terribly knowledgeable about FLC. If I can add anything helpful, I certainly will. --Nasty Housecat (talk) 23:12, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Meow! Please comment at Pathlight School's ongoing peer review
Meow, Nasty Housecat! I understand that you are a native speaker of British English who has volunteered to do copyedits at peer reviews. I have written an article about Pathlight School (Singaporean special school for autistic children), which could be the first-ever GA pertaining to special education. Like most Singaporeans, I am not a native speaker of English and need some help to meet the "well written" GA criterion. Could you support the quest to counter systemic bias on Wikipedia by giving constructive comments at the article's ongoing peer review? Thank you! 谢谢!Terima kasih! Arigato! --J.L.W.S. Peer review request
Hi Nasty Housecat,
I got your name from the list of peer review volunteers. I am hoping you wouldn't mind having a look at the Sahaja Yoga article which I've been involved with for some time. I practice the technique and my interest in the article was sparked by a desire to rescue it from a sustained critical attack. However I have not removed any reliable sources, just tried to keep it neutral and encyclopedic. Recently I have obtained the following feedback via the form at the bottom of the article:
- Few reputable sources
- Moderate bias
- Contains key info but with gaps
- Difficult to understand
The reputable sources issue is not easy to correct since there literally has not been much written about this movement.
The bias score may be skewed since readers may include both devotees and critics, both of whom may find the article is biased away from both their respective views. I would appreciate someone who is neutral such as yourself to give me an indication of how you perceive the neutrality.
Please let me know about any gaps in the information provided from your independent viewpoint.
Mostly I would like some feedback and/or help with the way it is written to enhance the comprehension for the reader.
Please let me know if this takes your interest. Freelion (talk) 02:00, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
Shimer College
Hi,I'm Chinese editor, can you help me on translations of Shimer College?
the first sentence of the third phase in the chapter of Campus:The campus on which Shimer resides....I can't understand "...on which...", we usually say “reside in” or "reside at" , would you expalin it? Can I use "...in which.." instead of "...on which.." in this sentence? tks!JHH755 (talk) 03:10, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the interest. In American usage, things are "on" a campus. For example, students live "on campus." The meaning in the article is that the campus belongs to IIT, but Shimer is also located there. Hope this helps. Nasty Housecat (talk) 22:14, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
- American usage! Good infomation. Tks! JHH755 (talk) 15:32, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
Main page appearance: School for Creative and Performing Arts
This is a note to let the main editors of School for Creative and Performing Arts know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on December 1, 2011. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/December 1, 2011. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegate Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), or start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. The blurb as it stands now is below:
The School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) is a magnet arts school in Cincinnati, Ohio. SCPA was founded in 1973 as one of the first magnet schools in Cincinnati and became the first school in the country to combine a full range of arts studies with a complete college-preparatory academic program for elementary through high school students. The school rose to national prominence in the 1980s, but was nearly closed in the 1990s following a series of scandals, leadership struggles, and an arson fire which destroyed the auditorium. Its reputation recovered in the years that followed and in 2009–10, the school was featured in the MTV reality series Taking the Stage, filmed at the school and featuring SCPA students. In 2010 SCPA combined with the Schiel Primary School for Arts Enrichment to create the first kindergarten through twelfth grade arts school and first private sector / public arts school in the US. Students must audition for admission; fewer than 20 percent of those who apply each year are accepted. The newly combined school offers a curriculum designed to prepare students for professional careers in creative writing, dance, drama, music, technical theater, and visual art. (more...)

Since you have listed yourself as a peer review volunteer interested in the social sciences, would you like to support the quest to counter systemic bias on Wikipedia by giving a thorough review of the article Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore? New user - review for article creation
Greetings, I am Orschstaffer, a new editor and article creator. I selected you for a new article creation reviewer from village pump and your volunteer statement, and your interest in alternative education. I have reviewed your contributions and work with Benet and the featured article at The Avery Coonley School. Should you care to look into my userpages I have explained many things about why I am here at Wikipedia, if you don't have the time to look, then I can reply to a simple request it you care to ask me. The User:Orschstaffer/OrschDraft is a request from the founder of Orsch to create an entry into Wikipedia, so in my excitement I created an account (Orschstaffer), now only to find I fall into coi. I have spent my time research/reviewing guidelines, policies, etc, and have written/rewritten the article to standards the best I can, there is still some copy/editing I plan on doing as well as more research for resources. I believe the article has shaped up for entry compared to other articles I've reviewed in the same categories. I have endeavored to maintain npov plus I have reviewed how to write a good article among others. I have not requested the article to be reviewed for creation yet (or at least till now, although I don't consider this the official request per wiki policies) and I ask for your review and edits primarily so I'm not the only editor of the article when it does get posted to live wikipedia (per suggestions I've read so far). I would like to have an article worthy of featured article status from the onset. Therefore I am not in a big hurry for publication. (Although Mrs. Jackie requested a deadline back in May). Forgive my verbosity with this request and accept my appreciation up front should you decide to contribute/collaborate on this article creation. Cordially, from the desk of O = M C 4 17:02, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
Requesting Peer Review
Dear Nasty Housecat, would you be willing to peer review the article I nominated for peer review (Touro University-California)? This is the first time I have ever put up an article for peer review. The article is currently at C class and though I don't think it's quite at good article status just yet, I have expanded the article significantly and would like feedback on how to further improve the article. I am hoping to eventually bring it to good article status or better. Please let me know on my talk page if you are willing to work on this project with me. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely TylerDurden8823 (talk) 07:00, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Update for: WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)
Sorry for having to send out a second message but a user has brought to my attention that a point mentioned in the first message should be clarified.
