Hello Suonii180 Thank you for your message and also for providing information regarding the etiquette requirement for source citation. I have noticed with some Wikipedia entries for persons living that birth dates are included yet exist without source citation. Might such situations be due to editorial lapses? Some clarity would be appreciated. However, following on from the information you have kindly provided, could you please verify whether accredited "Blue Tick" Twitter users verification of their own birth dates are acceptable source citations?   • Hi! If there are unreferenced dates of birth on articles then they should be sourced or removed, especially if they are Biographies of living persons. For using Twitter sources please see WP:ABOUTSELF and WP:TWITTER-EL. I usually err on the side of caution when it comes to using Twitter or other social media as a source especially with personal information however if the account is verified and the information looks genuine then it's usually ok to use although alternative sources are preferable. WP:BLPPRIVACY highlights the issues of including personal details like dates of birth that haven't been widely published in secondary sources. I noticed your revert [1] (removing "Steve Harrington" as father) on Eleven (Stranger Things) and subsequent note to the editor's talk page [2]. Are you sure it's incorrect? I don't know myself, since I don't follow the show. It's a fictional character, and I thought you might have been prejudiced by ClueBot's earlier revert. So, I just wanted you to reflect. I haven't seen the show in a while so I double checked when I first saw the edits on his article but I couldn't find any sources to back up the info added. Infobox person edits

Not sure why you are removing parameters like this. These are cosmetic edits that make no difference in the rendered output and should only be done in conjunction with more substantial changes. Also, you are actually making conflicts errors because this infobox can't have other_name and alias at the same time. You apparently aren't doing a Show Preview. MB 22:04, 26 December 2021 (UTC)

@MB: Apologies, I usually check previews but I must have gotten a little careless, I'll be more careful in future. Usually my edits regarding infobox parameters do include other edits such as spelling errors, removing spaces before or between refs, correcting formatting, links or urls or changing the infobox to a more appropriate one. I mainly started going through maintenance categories for articles with incorrect infobox parameters on bios as I had started noticing inappropriate parameters on female bios regarding dress size, measurements and other similar parameters. While these don't show up on articles, they are not appropriate and shouldn't be included in infoboxes. I figured I would remove other unknown and deprecated parameters so that the Infoboxes would be easier for others to edit as I've found a lot of spelling errors that are easy to overlook. Again, sorry for the repeated parameters, usually if there is an incorrect parameter that I can replace with one that can be formatted correctly on the infobox person template then I try to fix it but again I hadn't realised that I had gotten careless with previewing my edits. Deletion of Audio Science Review

Hi, I have a few significant new sources for the article on Audio Science Review and I want to improve the article based on these sources.

There are also a number of interviews, two on private websites (Daniel Miesller https://danielmiessler.com/podcast/interview-amir-majidimehr-audiophile-industry-disruptor/ and Merrill Audio https://ckarchive.com/b/lmuehmh78e5o) and several on YouTube.

There are also 5-10 mentions on blogs, and countless mentions on audio fora. ​

@PozzASR: Hi! I don't think the Wall Street Journal article contributes much to the notability of Audio Science Review as the quoted statement only mentions it in passing and does not provide in-depth coverage of the website.

Also most YouTube videos should not be used as references as per WP:RSPYT. Blogs are also often self-published sources and most of the time they shouldn't be used as sources as per WP:SELFPUBLISH.

@PozzASR: I don't think the sources provide enough notability although I didn't listen to the interview due to the length but if it provides specific in-depth details about Audio Science Review then it might be useful however the summary of the interview seems to focus more on Amir Majidimehr. Podcasts are also not a source which I generally use and so I'm not familiar with how they're viewed in terms of reliability. It may also be useful to get second opinions from the other editors from the deletion discussion as it was a while ago and I can no longer remember what was included in the article and what sources where available at the time. Hi Louise. I spent some time at the Joey Batey article, after a young person in our household mentioned his talent. While reading, I went to the first few sources (as I always do), but found they did not contain his birthplace and DOB. Further looking revealed that even the "Toss a Coin..." for which he is apparently famous, is not accompanied by a citation, likewise for the statement that he sings in the episodes where he is acting. (Such may seem obvious, but there is no guarantee that an actor also sings. If stated, it must be from some source—Varsity.co.uk, The Guardian, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, or some such.)

Hi,

I was just curious as to why video games are not notable enough for days of the year Wikipedia pages. I would like further clarification on the policy and not trying to start an argument or anything. I think video game releases can be just as important as other things on that page since they are very relevant to our current times. Hi! Due to the large and ever increasing size of Days of the Year articles, only events that are internationally significant are usually included in the events section. As there are a large amount of video games released each year it would add too much to each of the DOY articles especially as video games have their own year articles such as 2022 in video games and it's more appropriate for them to be placed there.
