Answer

Yes, it would. ;D But I appreciate it. Long time no talk! How are you? Hey, when did your talk page notice get red writing? I like it – is it working? ♥NiciVampireHeart13:46, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Nah, it's cool. I wasn't expecting anyone to remember, plus I was away that week anyway. My boyfriend took me to Scotland for a week. *looks smug* I had an excellent birthday thank you. :) Oh, well it was a good idea on his part – it really sticks out in the notice. It was the first thing I noticed. Yah, I'm busy. :( I'm not really in an article writing mood though – I'm just reverting vandalism and adding some sources here and there. And waiting for Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Jack Swagger/1 to finish. It's really annoying me actually. The guy who nominated it for GAR is the guy who passed it as a GA, and then six days later he slaps a GAR tag on it. And now he's ignoring my requests to say why it's up for GAR. It's incredibly frustrating, not to mention downright rude. I swear this better not happen with the New Breed (ECW). How 'bout you? You still working through 30 Rock episodes? ♥NiciVampireHeart11:52, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
It was great. :) Spent the weekend in Edinburgh and the rest of the week on the Orkney Islands. It was lovely. Exactly. It's annoying, but there's not really anything I can do about it – I can't force the guy to answer me. No, he doesn't seem to have reviewed anymore GANs, probably because I was quite hard on him and implied he wasn't competent in my first message after he nominated Swagger for GAR. It seems to me like he was trying out all the different article processes – he nominated an article himself at GAN (quick failed), nominated an FAC (failed), and put an article up for peer review. As far as I can tell he's just a newbie that doesn't know any better. As long as he stays the hell away from me after this is all over, I really don't care. I know the feeling – I keep telling myself to work on this article or that article, but I'm struggling to find motivation. It'll come back eventually I suspect. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:15, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
I could have sworn I replied tp your last comment already. My apologies for the delay. :) Yea, it was fantastic. if you don't mind the cold and rain, I'd suggest visiting Scotland – it's really brilliant. Paris is awesome as well, and so is Italy. As for me, I've always wanted to go to New Zealand. Exactly, exactly. We can't work on everything, but every little helps. Or so I tell myself anyway. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:10, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Strangely I've never been to Spain. It's the most popular holiday destination among my friends, but lying on a beach isn't good for me. I burn easily – think Sheamus-like paleness. :( I don't know why, really. I've always thought it looked like a fun place to go. Plus it's got the biggest bungee jump in the world. I like to think I'd give it a go! Yep, I'm just ignoring him now – he finally left some comments at Swagger's GAR – none of which said why the article deserved to be nominated for GAR, so... Maybe, although I don't really want to be hit in the head... Yea, I saw you editing Eve's article. :) Much obliged, I tend to feel like I'm the only one watching those articles. Along with about a hundred others, but that's the disadvantage of having "1,114 pages on your watchlist (excluding talk pages)". ♥NiciVampireHeart19:46, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Hey, congrats. :) Hope you do well. Not quite mayonnaise, but close. Maybe that's why I loathe mayonnaise? It's a beautiful country, NZ, isn't it? I'm not scared of heights, I'm just worried about falling from high places. :) Which makes bungee jumping a little terrifying for me. I've never managed to do it before, though I've tried. :( Oh, well, Swagger got kept as GA, so, whatever. Move onwards and upwards, and hopefully far, far away from that guy. Speaking of people to get away from, what was up with this guy/gal/thing on your talk page earlier? Weird. I do appreciate it, I got her up to GA, and then edit wars started and vandalism increased and I started to wonder why the hell I bothered. :| You should have seen my watchlist last week then! I took about 300/400 pages off it 'cause I never paid attention to them when they showed up. Crikey, I can't imagine only having 262 pages! Most of mine are random wrestlers no-one's ever heard of (like most of the CZW/CHIKARA rosters that hardly ever get edited) and pay-per-views, all the old WWF/WWE ones. Me 'n' TJ Spyke were the only ones paying attention to them (except for GaryColemanFan and Nikki who watchlisted the ones they got to GA/FA), 'cause everyone tends to watchlist the upcoming one or the ones that have just happened. Now, it's just me watching the old ones since TJ left. Lots of idiots changing times, that sort of thing, but it's manageable. Danielson's is alright – it's calmed down a lot now since it's been a while since he got released. ♥NiciVampireHeart01:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

<--You're welcome. I'm sure you'll do great. :) No, no tan, uneven or otherwise. I have a "beautiful Irish complexion" as Sheamus put it. Thank you, thank you. Relieved to get it out of the way. Vandal. There's a shocker. Hope you reported him/her/it to AIV. Earn him/her/it a vacation. Hmmm, I got a bunch of files I tagged for deletion, plus a bunch of templates, categories, wikipedia mainspace stuff as well. Every time I refresh my watchlist there's at least 5 new edits. You should see it when I log on after a few hours away. Daunting. :( But there's so much vandalism/addition of unsourced crap/etc that I feel bad taking them off my watchlist, so they stay, and I feel like pulling out my hair half the time. Oooh, Nexus, now there's an article I didn't add. I read it once, when it was first nommed at AFD, and it was full of week-by-week, and I figured it'd just get worse. Let the fanboi population have their week-by-week on that article. At least then, they're not adding to the wrestlers articles (most of which are on my watchlist). Hey, did you hear about Lance Cade? That was a shock when I logged on and saw his article going crazy. 29. Scary, scary thought. ♥NiciVampireHeart08:54, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Add-on and confession: I feel bad after SummerSlam. You put Bryan Danielson back on your watchlist 'cause I tell you it's calmed down, and then he returns. Look at this [1]! It's crazy. Good news: I got it semied. Bad news: it'll have expired by the time you log on! ♥NiciVampireHeart03:43, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Hey, congratulations! Yep, hella white. I'm just glad I don't have red hair! Thanks. Oh, I know. It was insane this morning. It's calmed down a lot since then. I had about 20 edit conflicts trying to fix it up. Did y'hear that WWE actually spoiled his return? they had an article up in the "exclusives" section of the SummerSlam section, and had "Daniel Bryan returns!" as one of the articles a coupla hours before the event. Bet someone gets fired for that! I liked the storyline when it first started, but the constant attacks are just irritating. I was enjoying the Kingston-Ziggler match last night, and then bam! I like Barrett, he's a great talker - he was the commentator for FCW and he was great, and I like Justin Gabriel because a) he's gorgeous and b) he does the 450 splash. The rest are meh. Yep. It's crazy isn't it? 29. It's scary - he was 10 years old than me. Thanks. Yes, I know what you mean. :) I still remember that - probably because there's still the occasional idiot who tries to change it... ♥NiciVampireHeart14:55, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Ya. On the official WWE webiste, they had "Bryan Danielson returns!" as one of the articles up. That's just crazy, and word got out seriously fast too. Well, that is true. You know I don't like Superman, ooops, Cena. Him being the sole survivor at SummerSlam was so freaking obviously gonna happen. Hmm, I didn't think of HHH returning - but that's probably because I heard he's gonna be out 'til at least November after surgery on his 'whatever he injured'. SummerSlam wasnn't bad actually. Cena as the sole survivor ruined it a bit for me, and the Divas match sucked, but apart from that it was pretty good. Oh no! You didn't know who the only hot guy in Nexus was? 'Blue I'm disappointed! Admittedly, the photo in his article isn't very flattering... I know, I don't like it. It's worries me for the wrestlers I'm a big fan of. :( Ugh, I hate mayonnaise. But I appreciate that. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart14:09, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks for reveiwing Boys Do Cry. I'll try to make this quick so it doesn't take up space on your talk, but would you mind also taking a look at Meet the Quagmires's GAN, as it is the last article in need of review before the season can be brought to GT. Thanks. Gage (talk) 11:46, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

GAN review

Hey Blue hows it going can you rview Brian Portrait of a dog. --Pedro J. the rookie 20:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Do not worry take your time-. --Pedro J. the rookie 20:45, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
Thank you Blue really helped me out there and if i may ask and not bothering can you review A Hero Sits Next Door, but if you cannot i understand. --Pedro J. the rookie 20:40, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

GA reviewing

Hi ThinkBlue. I was clearing out Category:Good articles without an oldid and saw your name pop up consistently on articles that you reviewed. When passing an article, don't forget to add the reviewed version in the GA template with the "oldid=" parameter. Thanks, and happy reviewing. Airplaneman 20:53, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

Hawke's page

Hi, Blue. How are you? I had some free time before summer vacation is over, so I made some changes to Hawke's article. Could you help me take a look at it and give me some suggestions? Thanks a lot! Pls click here. -- Artoasis (talk) 03:33, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

It's OK if you dont wanna change the lead/settings for now. Totally understood. How about the changes I mentioned in the "Stage career" section, esp. the refs. Oh, about Alias, it's one of the refs I took out, not that sentence. I thought one ref should be enough.--Artoasis (talk) 00:13, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
So I'll just go ahead and make the change. For the two refs I took out, there's another working ref to support the sentence. So I think it'll be fine.--Artoasis (talk) 00:34, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
I see. Forgot it's one production, but three installments, ;p --Artoasis (talk) 00:18, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Just saw your message. Went on a trip. No internet connection for days. Featured article in the main page? This should be interesting. I was back to school now, so I'm not sure if I could be there all day long. Anyhow, I'll be prepared, ;p -- Artoasis (talk) 12:02, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Would you mind taking a look at the article Mother Tucker, and assessing whether or not it should be reassessed? It just went through GAR, but if it doesn't need to reassessed again, the template on the talk page can be removed. Thanks. Gage (talk) 21:13, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Season 4 list

Any chance you can take a shot at this? I just can't get motivated to work on it. :( Staxringold talkcontribs 15:25, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi there! Long time, no talk. I hope all has been well with you.
I realize this is terribly random, and you're probably rather involved in making yet another 30 Rock episode a GA (keep it up, BTW), but I recall that you've worked on several actor biographies and I was wondering if when you get a chance you could check this one out. I did a major rewrite and expansion a couple of weeks ago, and I've been toying with the idea of GAN for a couple days now. It would be my first such GA. That's why before I nominate it, I'd like an experienced opinion on it. Again, there's absolutely no rush whatsoever. And if you want assistance with anything you've been working on lately, you've got it. Cliff smith talk 18:33, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

This should be interesting

Ethan Hawke is TFA on the 25th. I just noticed as I was move protecting all the scheduled TFAs. Hopefully it won't be as bad as when Kirsten Dunst was TFA, but I've a feeling it might not be good. At least WP:NOPRO's not a guideline any more, so admins should be more willing to protect it. :S HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:34, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Small world. I just stumbled across Peter Sarsgaard and recognised your style! ;) HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:25, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Re-nominate it for WP:FLC? --K. Annoyomous (talk) 00:07, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

As an FLC reviewer, I don't see anything wrong with it. You also resolved everything that the reviewers have said on the previous FLC, so mind as well go for a second try. :D --K. Annoyomous (talk) 04:55, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Can I ask a favour?

Just a quick one! Would you take a look at Talk:Herbert Charles Wilson/GA1 just to make sure I haven't missed anything? The nominator's a friend (I nominated him for adminship a couple of months ago) and 19th century Canadian politicians aren't really my specialist subject (not that I expect they're yours, but a review by someone on the same continent can't hurt). :) Thanks a lot, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:45, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Just spotted this on the main page and thought of you - congratulations for all the work you put into that article! It looks damn good :) Gonzonoir (talk) 13:18, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

It does now it's semi-protected and not swarmed by vandals! ;) Btw, Blue, what do you think of the new (slightly cleaned up) image on Kirsten Dunst? We'll need to change the alt text if it stays. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:13, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Would you mind quickly reviewing the article Hell Comes to Quahog? The season is currently at GT, and it is essential that all articles are at GA status. I know you've said you don't mind being asked to review an article, but I'd really appreciate it if you could look over the article as soon as possible. Thanks. Gage (talk) 17:42, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

I did it again...

... didn't I? I'm so sorry. Between my laptop crashing and preparing for college my mind's gone totally, totally blank. Again. :( I'm here once again to beg your forgiveness for forgetting to respond to your post. Again.... How are you though? Did you win that baseball tournament you were talking about? If you can remember that far back. Btw, congrats on Ethan Hawke making the front page a few week ago! I'm still in awe of anyone with featured articles. My rather paltry GAs look rather meagre next to your collection! ♥NiciVampireHeart06:44, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

I still feel bad though. It seems so rude. Plus I'm the type of person who always has to have the last word! Oh, don't be silly! You left me (an admittedly late) message about it. What more could I ask for? Yep. My laptop crashed due a virus as well. Very, very annoying. Cost me a fortune to have fixed as well. :( Ah see, I don't start college until the 20th, but I'm so busy organising accommodation and dealing with moving out for the first time that my head's all over the place. Can't wait though. :) Oh, poor 'Blue. Cheer up. Could be worse. Not entirely sure how it could be worse, but I'm sure it could be. :P I know, I'm almost pleased I got knocked out of the cup two rounds ago. Once college starts I'm not sure I'll have much time to be online. Ooh, that's bad. It's like when we play England at rugby. Or football. Or anything remotely competitive. :/ Second's a good achievement though, so congrats. Yea, I can imagine. I'd say it was rough. Do admins still have the whole 'not protecting 'cause it's on the main page' deal going? That always struck me as stupid. I mean how many people look at the featured article on the main page? A lot. Do you want it be read 'Ethan Hawke is a dick' or whatever? No. Like I said, stupid. Ha! I like how you changed 'featured articles' in your original comment to 'GAs'. I don't think I'll get any FAs either! Trying to get wrestling-related articles up to standard would be practically impossible. Actually, I'm quite pleased with myself. I nominated Rebecca Knox at GAN yesterday. Fantastic wsrestler. Irish too. :) Was planning on nominating Sheamus soon, 'cause it's in pretty good shape, and then Irish Whip Wrestling went and took down most of their site to 'reconstruct' it, and almost half the references are now dead. With no copies on archive.org. These people. No consideration for my plans! I abandoned my New Breed plans – 'cause he two articles I have left to do aren't very interesting. Shame really. I feel kinda bad about it. ♥NiciVampireHeart09:25, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Oh no. This isn't an argument. We haven't mentioned Cena or The Miz so it couldn't be! :) Yep, yep. Freakin' lovely place. Hey we have an article about it – Trinity Hall, Dublin. Hmmm, well see, first year in college, so I feel I should at least try and pay attention. For a while at least. :P Seriously? That's ridiculous. Shame you didn't beat them. Or beat them with your baseball bat! Oh really? Finally, common sense! Bet a lot of them get semi'ed now. I know. I'm just so used to working on wrestling articles now. I have a comfort zone on wikipedia, and I don't really want to go outside it. I don't think I'd be able to write them as well as I do wrestling ones. I might eventually try for a GA with an actor or musician or something. I have a few on my watchlist, just not many. :) That too. Always nice to work on an article about a kickass Irish woman. Damn shame she retired. Especially since she was 21 when she retired. See, I didn't add the sources in the first place, so it didn't occur to me to archive them. I tend to archive most of the stuff I use as sources, except for Slam! which never seems to lose stuff. I should clarify – I abandoned my New Breed topic plans. New Breed (ECW) actually passed GA a while back. I still have to work on Elijah Burke and Monty Brown for the topic, but I don't feel like it, so I've abandoned it. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:58, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Oh, you're so cruel to the Awesome One! Yea, I considered staying at home, but considering I'd have a 2 hour commute I figured a dorm would be best. I know, isn't it? Ensuite rooms and all. :) LOL. I might end up doing that myself! Wow. What did y'all do to get banned? Well that's not so bad. Well, I don't intend on ever having an RFA, so I won't be gtting pushed out my comfort zone anytime soon. :) She's from Dublin – she's no lady! Yup. 23 now, but 21 when she retired. Maybe, though I think it had more to do with the head injury she got – I think she realised wrestling's pretty dangerous. Funny you say that. When I was still planning on doing the topic I was going to request your help with Monty Brown – specifically that football section. I know next to nothing about football so I've no clue what to do with that section. :| If you work on them, I'll give ya a hand, sure. Be nice to get that topic done and dusted. :) ♥NiciVampireHeart16:49, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Nonsense dear. Irish guy FTW! Or Randy. Whichever. :D Exactly, exactly. Oh my GOD! You violent, violent person. :P I'm so proud. That sucks though. I hope you hit her hard. Maybe you should have hit the parents too! Joking. Kinda. I'll be honest, I look through RfAs now and again, and they're ridiculous. I saw one opposed because the person had only created 8 articles. only. Ridiculous. It took me forever to create eight articles. I think I'm only on something like 10. Plus, I can be very bitchy. I wouldn't pass. And I'm not sure I'd want to. I like working on articles. Having to give that up to block people would suck. A gal is much better. :) Sure is. Cool, cool. Aw shucks, you'll make me blush! ♥NiciVampireHeart19:12, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
I must say, I liked Cena losing that tables match last night. :) Don't say that! We need more Irish champions in wrestling. Congratulations. Self-control is usually a good thing. Yes, I am. I'm always proud when people stick up for themselves. Oh that's fantastic! I'd feel so smug. You've created 20 articles. No, I didn't count. I cheated. By the way, HP Photosmart M425? That's an odd one considering your other contribs! Yep, yep. It's a bearpit at RfA. Best avoided. Still, you flatter me. :) Alright, but be warned, neither of them are in great shape. I only just started tidying up Monty Brown, and I didn't touch Elijah Burke. Btw, I probably won't be on much between Friday and Tuesday – have to move into my dorm, and college starts on Monday, so... ♥NiciVampireHeart15:19, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Oopsie. I swear I meant to reply before I left for college... Anyway, moved into my dorm now – it's very, very nice, and I've finally managed to hook up the internet to it. Only took a week. :( I love Fresher's week! Pity it's over now. Start properly tomorrow – 9 'til 5. Fun, huh? Looks like you were right. Irish guy lost. :( Booo! Though I quite like Randy winning. :) Plus Bryan Danielson won, which is always good, even if the Awesome One had to lose. Yep, 20 articles created by you. I've created half the number you have, and most of them have been in the last six months. My first article (Purple Hibiscus) is a novel. The article's in awful shape, I'm actually embarrassed looking at it. Cool, cool. I'll try and do something on Brown soon. ♥NiciVampireHeart16:44, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Yes I do like the new Miz image. I actually saw it pretty much right after I posted my above comment. It's very, very nice, and I very much appreciate you being awesome enough to get an awesome photo of the Awesome One for me. :D I appreciate the undrestanding as well. Things have settled down a little now, so I hopefully I can do a little editing every day. Yep, yep. It's mental. Fresher's week in Ireland naturally involves a lot of drunkeness and alcohol, so that's always good. Ouch! 7? That's mad. Why so early? Hey, hey Irish guy did not deserve to lose it! Oh wow! A whole one more? Step back – genius at work! ;P Hey, don't rub it in! I was hoping someone else would come along and knock it into shape, but no such luck. Good novel though. Hey, take your time. I got a required reading list of like 20 books to read before Christmas so, take your time. ♥NiciVampireHeart22:01, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
See when I'm bored in class I go to sleep. :) Hey, since you've already spoken to the guy, d'you think you could get him to release this image? We have no really good ones of The Hart Dynasty. I've asked probably 10 people on Flickr to release an image of them and I either get a 'no' or no answer at all - which is just rude. I freaked out for college in the like the week beforehand - I bought loads of new clothes and accessories and makeup... I feel bad now. I was here for some of the Jillian stuff - what the hell was all that? It was driving me crazy, all the constant "she's married, no she's not, yes she is, no she's not". Mental. Hmmm, I haven't watched Raw this week - it's very possible he does have a new theme. Of course the name they're adding to the article is completely unverifiable, it's probably one someone made up on some forum sonewhere. That happens a lot. :| Seriously? Oh, well, I guess legal drinking age and stuff. My fresher's week was just one big session. It was fun! Oh, nonsense 'Blue. Sheamus kicks some serious American ass and you know it. :P But it's not fair! I gotta find more articles to create... I dunno. I'm hoping to I'll have time to get to them before Christmas, but I dunno. We'll aim to do them over Christmas, and we get them done before then we'll use it as further proof that we're cool. ♥NiciVampireHeart23:43, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Oh, excellent. :) Thank you so much - it's so much better than the previous one in the article. I really appreciate it. Hey, hey, don't apologise. I hadn't even realised you were online at the time. I totally understand being busy, so no worries if you can't respond for a while. Exactly, exactly. I've had people say they have no intention of letting their image be used if they don't get paid for it. It's disappointing sometimes, but totally understandable. It really sucks for some of the indy wrestlers or those from FCW, 'cause they either have no image or really, really bad ones. Have you seen Category:Wikipedia requested photographs of professional wrestling performers? It's despressing. Hmmm, I found his entrance on youtube last night. His new theme's not very good. Hell yea we party all the time. Actually going out tonight! I have no classes tomorrow though, so it's cool. I have to defend him - he's Irish. And cool. And did I mention he's Irish? :) Hey if you wanna get stuck in on Burke, go ahead. I'll see if I can find some time to squeeze in some work on Brown soon. Oof, you're on a tight schedule! Are you planning to do all this season's 30 Rock episodes the day after they air? That'll suck! ♥NiciVampireHeart17:46, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
Yep, yep. But there are some good images in Brad Pitt's article already, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. :) Yea, he does. starts at 7:40. Haven't got a clue what it's called though. The first line of it is "I come from Money", hence why everyone keeps adding that to the article as the name. Yes, us Irish people. Awesome aren't we? Hey, if you wanna work on both, go ahead. If I can help out, I'll try. How can you persuade me to add alt text? Buy me a beer. jk. I've added it. As ususal, check the spelling is Americanised. By the way, can you help me out at AJ Lee? Per wwe.com her ring name is A.J. (no space), but people keep changing it to A. J. (with space). It's annoying me, and I think I'll probably end up going over 3RR if it continues. ♥NiciVampireHeart19:10, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
I know, I don't like his new theme either. I guess they're trying to move away from The Legacy theme or something. What d'you think of R-Truth's new theme? And to think I thought his old one was bad.... I'll be honest, I'm not overly bothered about the GT anyway. Especially since there are over 60 articles in the sports section at GAN. They'll take forever to get reviewed. I nominated Knox nearly a month ago, and it's at 40-something. It'll be Christmas before it gets reviewed at this rate. *shrugs* It's alright. I had plenty of beers last night, so I'm in a good, but hungover mood today. I'm not an expert. Actually, I'll let ya in on a secret: I hate alt text. But I seem to be doing it right, so any more you've got, I'[ll help out if I can. :) I appreciate that. I hit the ip with a 3RR warning, and he seems to have fucked off for now. Here's hoping he doesn't come back. ♥NiciVampireHeart17:32, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Gangrel

I've begun work on Gangrel here. I thought to tell you since Gail Kim is finished. I should have it done soon.--WillC 04:56, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Nikki and I have worked very hard, thank you. I'll be fine but thanks though. With it finished only E&C is left. I asked Nici if she wanted to work on The Brood with me, or perhaps us. But she hasn't gotten back to me. So maybe soon, a few topics will be in order. Nikki is very close to finishing her Good Topic regarding the Women's, Diva, and Knockout Titles so who knows, maybe in 6 months there will be like 6 topics nominated.--WillC 03:11, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Take your time on that, I'll help you with it if you want. I'm a bit rusty as well since the last wrestling article I did before Kim was the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship in February. I'm thinking of moving to some other subjects soon. After I get a few wrestling articles done (List of TNA World Heavyweight Champions, List of WWE Divas Champions, Taylor Wilde, Angelina Love, List of TNA Television Champions, and A.J. Styles). I'm thinking of bringing all of Disturbed's album articles up to GA for a topic. Doing some Transformer articles, mainly Beast Wars. Plus a few movie articles, namely Thank You for Smoking. Yeah, she hasn't talked to me in a year, refuses to reply I guess. I have no idea why though. Yeah, I'd tell Nikki that, I'm trying to help her out a little with the Divas List, Kim, Love, Wilde, and Miss Jackie.--WillC 21:08, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Nah take your time, I don't mind helping you. For once I won't be the one being waited on, haha. Thank you, very much Vivian (I do believe that is your name). Yeah, it sucks, and I don't know why either.--WillC 21:37, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm surprised I remembered it, you told me it like one time an entire year ago. No, I see getting Gangrel done soon. Maybe by the end of the week if I work hard enough. I already have most of the sections finished, like In Wrestling, Infobox, championships, etc. Only his life and career are left, besides expanding the lead afterwards. I just need to get my refs in order so I can go down through the list an rewrite and source stuff. Good luck, I'm rooting for you since I lost in the second round. I'm just saying take your time since I don't want you to think you have to rush or have to have it done now. It is just a stupid article, I'm in no rush.--WillC 21:50, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm guessing you know mine (if you don't you are blind). Okay lets get them done. I'll finshed Gangrel here soon. Then we can work on The Brood together and get another topic out of that. Guess what? I just found out I am a Grand Tutnum. I've been here 2 and a half years and over well over 12,000 edits (28,000 actually, more than 4 years worth).--WillC 22:35, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

For sure, :) You are a Tutnum IV, see Template:Tutnum IV Userbox. No, that would make a second topic. See E&C would be Edge, Cage, and Gangrel, while the Brood would be Edge, Cage, Gangrel, Matt Hardy, and Jeff Hardy.--WillC 23:11, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

I think you might be the one in charge of this. Nergaal (talk) 13:36, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Hey my Bluesy girl, I have come here with a strange request. Can you review the GAN of the above article? Actually I believe "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" is a part of the Like a Virgin GTC, as pointed out by some users. Hence it should be added to the GTC. Well, the GA I believe is pretty ready-pass, so please, please, can you do it? — Legolas (talk2me) 12:08, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks a lot. I have corrected everything. Btw, have you seen the new format of the GANs? Its so good and a lot of our headaches regarding updating article history is gone. — Legolas (talk2me) 04:05, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Aren't you excited that Maroon 5's new album is gonna debut at #1 on next week's Billboard 200? — Legolas (talk2me) 05:37, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
I can crank it up definitely. Looks like M5's album is destined to be #1, but sales aren't looking so good. — Legolas (talk2me) 07:56, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

30 Rock season 4

It looks really good, I've been checking up on it via my watchlist. Assuming you've checked that the episode summaries aren't copyvios (they sneak in sometimes) I'd say it's ready for FLC. I leave it entirely to you if I deserve any credit, you've done like 80+% of the work. It really looks good! Staxringold talkcontribs 15:27, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

Here's the problem, I just checked one of the episode descriptions; 422. It was a blatant, Google findable copyvio. (From here, though I think it was an NBC press-clipping originally.) None of us put it there, but it is still problematic. The rest need to be carefully checked now. Fun, fun, fun. Courcelles 15:41, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that's what Staxringold told me to watch out with the episode summaries copy-vios. Would it be a good idea to get someone to copy-edit the summaries, or do we just try and write them out a different way? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:51, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
You can't really copy-edit out a copyright problem, as "substantially similar" is still problematic. They're going to have to be rewritten. (Which is possibly a good thing. Too many of them read like teasers, and not descriptions, anyway.) Courcelles 15:53, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
  • Most of the copyvios I find are pretty blatant, just someone copy/pasting from a site like Yahoo to fill in the night the episode aired. If you Google the summaries you'll catch most of them easily enough. Just delete them entirely and rewrite, it's what I did for Season 3. As for Season 5, TB, I'll try to be more helpful this time around in writing those articles. You'll note I started out doing so for the first 4 or so eps of season 4 but then dropped off. And I'll definitely help at FLC. Staxringold talkcontribs 15:53, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
    • Well, I feel like a dummy, and that's all right, I guess, asking silly questions. Though, the only reason I asked is just maybe to "fix" the problem, cause I've never done this before, so, I'm basically "lost" with it. Alrighty, then, we can rewrite them... in our own words. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:03, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
  • I would try to find an outside source/review on that particular quote or at least the schedule of episodes and note that mix. It'll be much easier on October 15th when the episode has aired and you can just connect the two plots. Staxringold talkcontribs 20:47, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, not sure you if you got this post, but that is besides the point I am here for, just wanted to make sure you noticed this first. Anyway, I've been looking high and low for references for Gangrel and all I can find is stuff from his WWF tenure. Sure I got some refs for his TNA, etc but not much about his life and career between his TNA appearence in June 2002 and now. You got any ideas where to look. I'd have it done already if I just had all the information I needed.--WillC 05:53, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
No I was just wondering. Thought you might have missed it. Wasn't sure, the conversation just died. Anyway, I've looked on both sites and OWOW has a history, but not sure where else to look for bio history. I thought you might have an idea.--WillC 06:36, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

DYK for When it Rains, it Pours (30 Rock)

RlevseTalk 12:02, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Hey. Just noting this discussion, as well as my comments. I'd rather not keep this open indefinitely, but I also don't wish to have to demote a topic when season 4's about 95% ready for FLC. I hope this can be finished sooner rather than later. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:35, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

As long as it's at FLC by then, it's fine. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:10, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

New month deserves a new section...

Last time you replied to me it was September! :P Nah, it's cool. I've done it to you often enough. Plus your studies are way more important. Do what you gotta girl. I don't like either of R-Truth's songs to be honest – they're both crap. Nonsense, it's fine. :) I've more concerned with Ted DiBiase, Jr., Morrison, Swagger, and Cody over the past while. They've been popular targets for a while now, but the edits (most of them) are good faith, so I wouldn't be given protection. Wait, what? Which article are you talking about? wrt "Oh, you already nominated it?" I do have plans with Sheamus eventually. His article is in pretty good shape, it's just all the damn dead links. ♥NiciVampireHeart13:35, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Well I hope it was a nice cave at least. At least you didn't have to share it with a bear or something... Anyways, it's good to have you back! I'm tired of seeing my name plastered all over my watchlist reverting the idiocy. It's nice to see yours back up there as well. :) Yes, thank you. I've requested semi for Cody – the reverting is too much at this point. It's getting frustrating now. The bastards are getting clever – they're providing sources for their edits, but the sources are total bullshit. They don't verify the info at all. The new evolved idiot. :/ Yea, yea. I nominated Knox back in September. Still at number 30-something atm. The state of the sports section at WP:GAN is ridiculous, it's completely backlogged. I expect Knox to get reviewed sometime around Christmas. I do not blame you. I've unwatchlisted a bunch as well. Edge has been off my watchlist for a while – it's a magnet for the good faith but crap editors really. Yep, still waiting for the site to update/be revamped/whatever. Pain in the a**. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:02, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Don't be silly. It's fine. I hope you're feeling better. :) Ah, nice choice. Yep, it's irritating. In some cases they're just copying and pasting sources from elsewhere in the article and slapping them onto the end of whatever crap they're adding. Exactly, exactly. Up to 24 up in the Sports backlog now. It'll only take another month or so before she gets reviewed. *rolls eyes* Oh WOW. Did you say you took CENA off your watchlist? Wow, you musta been really sick. :) Never thought you'd take him off. Ever. Oh, ouch. Hope you were able to replace them. I'm still hanging around with my dead links. Wrestling gets next to no coverage over here, so I've no way of replacing the links. ♥NiciVampireHeart15:28, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Glad to hear it. :) Good, good. Oooh, Triple H. There's an article that's been off my watchlist for months. I shudder to think of the state of it. Yea, it's irritating isn't it? I feel like the only one watching a whole bunch of articles sometimes. I hate to do this to you since you're trying to de-stress, but I need help. Can you put Celeste Bonin, Joe Hennig, Barri Griffiths, Joe Anoa'i, Johnny Prime, Brian Jossie, Windham Rotunda, Bryan J. Kelly, and Aaron Stevens (wrestler) on your watchlist? I'm having the same problems on all of them. An ip (which changes every time) refuses to accept the fact that ring names are supposed to be listed alphabetically in the infobox and that cagematch hasn't been proven reliable, and is edit warring with me. Just check out the histories. I'm well past 3RR at this point, and it's driving me insane. There's no point mentioning it at WP:PW 'cause it'll degenerate into another bitchfest, like ususal. Hence I unwatchlisted that page over a year ago... *sigh* I'm frustrated. Wikipedia's doing my head at the moment. I unwatchlisted Montel Vontavious Porter the other day, 'cause I removed some unsourced info and it was reverted because there's other unsourced info in the article. So obviously it's fine to add more. </sarcasm> It's depressing to unwatchlist an article you got to GA status 'cause the inmates are taking over the asylum, so to speak. I'm starting to hate WP:PW editors and wrestling articles more and more every time I log on. <end rant>
Sorry. I'm just annoyed. Anyway, yea, I've had that problem with webcite as well. It won't archive anything from slam.canoe.ca and a few other sites. It's very annoying. Yep. I don't understand why it takes so long to revamp a website though. Those links have been down for almost 6 months, if not more. ♥NiciVampireHeart01:00, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Don't blame you. I couldn't deal with the Triple H article when it had protection. There's only so much you can deal with, and you gotta pick your battles. There are a couple of articles that'll never leave my watchlist – Matt and Jeff Hardy for example. I put way, way too much effort into both of those articles (over 600 edits to each) to see them degenerate into crap. I'm right there with ya on Randy though. :) He's too pretty to let the inmates take over on his. :D Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for putting them on your watchlist. I can't report it 'cause it's a different ip every time – it's always from Rio de Janeiro and always is either 187.(something) or 189.(something). I can't get a rangeblock 'cause it'd probably have to block everyone in Rio. I'm stuck with reverting unfortunately. Pain in the ass. Basically, what they do is remove {{verify credibility}} tags from cagematch.de sources, restore cagematch.de sources when I've switched it out for a more reliable source, and put the current ring names first instead of listing the ring names alphabetically, like it should be. I really, really appreciate the help. :) Let me know if there's an article you want me to keep an eye on for you.
How could I hate you, you're too cool to hate. :) No, I don't consider you to be a member of PW anymore. I don't really consider myself to be a member of PW anymore – I'm just an editor who works on editing articles. You know the ones I'm talking about – the ones who do nothing except argue on WT:PW. I mean, me 'n you and a couple others still work on articles, and have gotten articles to GA/FL/FA/whatever. But there are some who have done nothing and do nothing but bitch and moan about the state of the articles/the names the articles are at/whatever the new drama is, and don't do anything to fix it. I hate that. I avoid that page if I can. I always feel sorry for ips/new users who try to bring a problem up there though, 'cause they pretty much just get ignored or bullied off the page. I'm ranting again, aren't I? ♥NiciVampireHeart18:52, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Thank you. First edit I saw on my watchlust when I logged in today was this one. Thank you. :) Ha, I think if you took HBK off your watchlist the world would collapse! It would be too strange, you giving up on HBK. :D I don't mind it really (Randy shaving his head). He is prettierwith hair though, so... That's a very good comparison. It's fairly obvious isn't it? Well, you still work on wrestling articles; you just haven't nominated one for GA in a while. Exactly. If I was a new contributor, I probably would have left. It's a seriously hostile atmosphere over there. It was a lot nicer when I started out, but then people left, others joined, and some people stopped contributing to PW, so it's not nice any more. NiciVampireHeart 20:44, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

<--Well, I appreciate it. :) They didn't come back today, so now I'm in a marginally better mood. I suspected that (about HBK). I'd also never take articles I created off my watchlist - especially BLPs, 'cause I feel responsible to make sure it's not replaced by "IS GAY" or whatever. Well, I understand where your coming from on Randy's hair, but I don't mind it as much as you do. I think the shaved head look worked really well in 2009 when he was crazy and punting Vince McMahon in the head. Not so much anymore. I know, I know. It's a weird parallel when you think about it... Hmm, last one I nominated was Knox, and that was always three months ago. Of course, I'm still waiting for a review, but I digress... You seem to have moved away from it a lot; I'd consider you more an editor of tv and actors/actresses now, than a wrestling one. Like all that work you've done on 30 Rock stuff. Same here, it's a lot better back in 2007. :( No, I just felt like a change - the heart's were annoying me. And it looked weird leaving the same colours and removing the hearts, so I decided to go all dark and evil. :D NiciVampireHeart 14:43, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, sorry. Got kinda swamped with an assignment. No, you're right - I wouldn't have gotten that reference. :) Actually, me moaning on your talk page seems to be doing the trick. The sports backlog is decreasing now - Knox is almost in the first 10, so... Hopefully within the next month or so. *Crosses fingers* Oh, thank you for the compliment. :) Knox was challenging 'cause she wasn't around for very long, and she was Irish and didn't wrestle in any of the really well-known, big promotions. I'm pretty pleased with how the article turned out actually. Yea, I don't watch much tv actually. I know, I'm strange, but I don't. Irish tv is pretty crap - if I watch tv it tends to be US shows. Like Numb3rs - I loved Numb3rs. So pissed when I found out it had been cancelled. Exactly. I did change the colors - well kinda. It used to be Black, Purple, Red, and now it's Black, Purple, Black. I dunno, I might change it again. Haven't really decided whether I like the new one enough to keep it for a coupla years like I did with the old one. NiciVampireHeart 19:00, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Well, whatever it is, it needs to be dealt with immediately cause the deadline is October 18... just sayin'. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:28, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/30 Rock (season 4)/archive1. Courcelles 22:17, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
As long as you don't "sandwich" text between two images, go right ahead and add them. If only one fits, the resolution of the season would make Banks the better choice, of course. Courcelles 23:22, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Sure As you can see, I have a large commented section in the article; the prose and sourcing needs work. Otherwise, I don't have any more sources to add, but I have a Google Alert to tell me what the Web says. Thanks. —Justin (koavf)TCM03:21, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Wow I was looking at your talk and it looks like you're responsible for all the GA/FA/FL 30 Rock content. I figured there was a WikiProject, but it's just a dedicated editor. —Justin (koavf)TCM08:24, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks I'm usually best at inserting sources, formatting, categorization, and more menial task work. I am worst at actually writing prose and I've had particular problems with creating substantial leads (if you really want to see what I'm talking about, look at George Orwell bibliography.) Anyway, if you want to take that sandbox and more or less dump it into the production section, it should integrate with virtually no problem and then fix the section on sitcom tropes/connections to SNL, then it would be more-or-less ready for GA nomination (with the two of us co-nominators) as far as I'm concerned. This would easily be the most painless GA I've ever (co-)written! —Justin (koavf)TCM23:07, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Excellent That's very courteous of you. It seems like with minimal editing on your part and a once-over from both of us, it will be in good shape--from redirect to GA nomination inside of a week! The only issue might be the prospect of the article changing much, but I'd imagine that most reviews are already published and there is a significant GA backlog, so even if it was nominated in a couple of days, there would still be a long lead time before anyone would review it. —Justin (koavf)TCM23:18, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Again I made a light edit for consistency, but this is otherwise fine with me. Now, if you can make a substantial lead and fix the TV tropes section so that it's not WP:OR, I think it's more-or-less done. —Justin (koavf)TCM23:46, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Posh Don't be silly; you've been very helpful at Live Show and there's not much to be done to it really--I know that I have nothing to add. I submitted it for GA and that will still take a good month to six weeks, so if anything interesting comes along, feel free to add it. Get better soon! —Justin (koavf)TCM18:39, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

A little more I've expanded the article a little and I tried to add this source, but it was not available at the time. As always, my prose is my weakest editing, so please feel free to amend and rearrange as you see fit. Since the GA backlog is awful, we've still got a ways to go before it's even reviewed. —Justin (koavf)TCM22:33, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Requested review I've taken a look at Let's_Stay_Together_(30_Rock)#Reception and I really don't know that I have anything to add. The stuff that I'm best at doing on Wikipedia is deciding the general structure of an article, adding categories, proof-reading, sourcing, adding templates, etc. The thing that I'm worst at--and basically the fundamental task of an encyclopedia--is writing the prose. I'm not sure that I can add much to what you have, honestly. Please feel free to consult me in the future, but realize that I have a serious shortcoming regarding article text. 04:00, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Reaganing

Hi there, I've had a look at the plot. I'd rather not make the changes directly because you might think they're too drastic, and also, in case I've got something wrong. As you know I haven't seen the show (still!), so I may have made errors. I think it's simplest just to post my version here and you can use it as you like:

Extended content
Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) agrees to give sketch show TGS head writer Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) a ride to Newark Liberty International Airport to meet her boyfriend Carol (Matt Damon). On the way, she tells him that she is having intimacy issues with Carol and wants to end the relationship. Jack, who is having a successful run of problem-solving, encourages Liz to confide in him so that he can help solve her problem. She tells him of a traumatic incident from her childhood when, preparing to use the bathroom whilst wearing roller skates, she pulled down her underpants and fell, pulling a Tom Jones poster on top of her. Her mother (Anita Gillette) discovered Liz under the poster and suspecting her of masturbating, took all her posters away. With their limousine stuck in traffic, Jack exits the vehicle to try to digest Liz's story.

At the same time, TGS star Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) tries to film a commercial for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America but has a difficult time remembering his line. The repeated takes to accommodate Tracy are what is holding the traffic up. Jack comes upon the scene and realizes the problem. To speed things up, he gives Tracy jelly beans to eat and while he is chewing, Jack imitates Tracy's voice and says the line Tracy was scheduled to say.

Back in the car, Jack begins to lose confidence in his problem-solving abilities because Liz still wants to break up with Carol. As they talk through Liz's past problems with sex, they realize that they are all connected to the incident with the Tom Jones poster and that each time she has had a problem, it is because she has been reminded of the singer. Liz is relieved that she has found the root of her problem and Jack convinces her to stay with Carol. When they finally reach Newark Airport, Liz realizes that she is supposed to meet him at John F. Kennedy International Airport instead.

Meanwhile, Tracy's co-star Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) receives a card from Carvel that entitles her to free ice cream cakes for life. She gets a free cake with the card but it has a mistake in the decoration so NBC page Kenneth Parcell (Jack McBrayer) returns it to the restaurant. When he gets a refund for the free cake, Jenna decides to scam the restaurant. With Kenneth's help, she orders several more cakes and gets refunds for them. Eventually Jenna is banned from Carvel. The two then enlist actor Kelsey Grammer to assist them in a bigger scam. Jenna and Kenneth submit a sketch to TGS producer Pete Hornberger (Scott Adsit) in Liz's name that requires dozens of cakes. Grammer orders the cakes and after they get delivered he returns one of the cakes to Carvel, points out the mistake and collects his refund. Later, Kenneth runs into one of the Carvel employees and learns that she was fired because of the scam. Realizing the negative effect of their actions, Kenneth decides not to take part in the scams any more.

My initial thought was to cut some bits down (like Liz's reminiscence of her traumatic incident) but actually I think it's needed to understand the plot since they continue to discuss Tom Jones etc, and I think it needs to be clear what her mother thought was happening since that's why it was so traumatic. Anyway, hope it helps, use as much or as little as you want! --BelovedFreak 19:25, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

WikiCup 2010 October newsletter

The 2010 WikiCup is over! It has been a long journey, but what has been achieved is impressive: combined, participants have produced over seventy featured articles, over five hundred good articles, over fifty featured lists, over one thousand one hundred "did you know" entries, in addition to various other pieces of recognised content. A full list (which has yet to be updated to reflect the scores in the final round) can be found here. Perhaps more importantly, we have our winner! The 2010 WikiCup champion is Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions), with an unbelievable 4220 points in the final round. Second place goes to New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions), with 2260, and third to New South Wales Casliber (submissions), with 560. Congratulations to our other four finalists – White Shadows (submissions), William S. Saturn (submissions), Connecticut Staxringold (submissions) and Colombia ThinkBlue (submissions). Also, congratulations to Hungary Sasata (submissions), who withdrew from the competition with an impressive 2685 points earlier in this round.

Prizes will also be going to those who claimed the most points for different types of content in a single round. It was decided that the prizes would be awarded for those with the highest in a round, rather than overall, so that the finalists did not have an unfair advantage. Winning the featured article prize is New South Wales Casliber (submissions), for five featured articles in round 4. Winning the good article prize is Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions), for eighty-one good articles in round 5. Winning the featured list prize is Connecticut Staxringold (submissions), for six featured lists in round 1. Winning the picture and sound award is Jujutacular (submissions), for four featured pictures in round 3. Winning the topic award is Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions), for forty-seven articles in various good topics in round 5. Winning the "did you know" award is New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions), for over one hundred did you knows is round 5. Finally, winning the in the news award is Republic of Ireland Candlewicke (submissions), for nineteen articles in the news in round three.

The WikiCup has faced criticism in the last month – hopefully, we will take something positive from it and create a better contest for next year. Like Wikipedia itself, the Cup is a work in progress, and ideas for how it should work are more than welcome on the WikiCup talk page and on the scoring talk page. Also, people are more than welcome to sign up for next year's competition on the signup page. Well done and thank you to everyone involved – the Cup has been a pleasure to run, and we, as judges, have been proud to be a part of it. We hope that next year, however the Cup is working, and whoever is running it, it will be back, stronger and more popular than ever. Until then, goodbye and happy editing! Re: your note

Sure I'd be happy to look at the article, but I haven't had much time lately; it's sitting in my browser at home. —Justin (koavf)TCM15:46, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Hawke

Hey, Blue. How are you doing? I was trying to add a little bit about Hawke's other activities, to the "Personal life" section. Could you take a look and make some suggestion? Thanks. Here's the link. Cheers! - Artoasis (talk) 07:35, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

I made some changes accordingly. Check it out. If you think it looks fine, I'll add it soon. - Artoasis (talk) 13:07, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Umm, busy weekend? Some feedback, please, pretty please. - Artoasis (talk) 13:52, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. How's your weekend? I'm thinking about adding two quotes to Hawke's article. Here, what do you think? - Artoasis (talk) 14:46, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Hey Blue, have you got the time to check it out? If you don't like some of the additions, just tell me. It's totally cool. Cheers. And Happy Thanksgiving! - Artoasis (talk) 10:54, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the feedback, :) Yeah, I think you're right. It could be interpreted as praise. So I'll take out the Linklater's quote, only use the ones from Hawke. About the Popmatters' review, I understand your intention now. I wanted to replace it with NYT's cause it's a little weird to see a book review from Popmatters, if it's for movies, I'm all game. But a book review, it just felt a little unprofessional, so... Cheers. Hehe, I ended up dropping all of those quotes. IDK, maybe it's better we just present the facts. - Artoasis (talk) 13:30, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Hey, hope you're not too mad. I'm not very familiar with Popmatters, thought they only do movies and music stuff. Guess I'm too snobbish about them, :) Also, I'm a little concerned about how long they would keep their reviews online. NYT is pretty stable, I can even access some of their old reviews from the 80s, so... Anyway, pls don't be mad, OK? - Artoasis (talk) 03:41, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
I see. Do you think we need to change it back then? I'll pay more attention to the quote summary thing next time. - Artoasis (talk) 02:48, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi Blue, I was just reading about "Hawke owns a small island in Tracadie, Nova Scotia." Sounds interesting, so I went to the source. But I couldn't confirm the "Tracadie" part from that interview. Um, do you have other sources for this? - Artoasis (talk) 08:29, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Elizabeth Banks

First of all, WOW. It's an epic article. Very well-written and very informative. Definitely GA/FA material. My only real concern is the lead section. I feel it's a little too detailed and chronological. Say, if I'm a reader who's not very familiar with or passionate about Banks' work, I would probably argue, that the lead section shouldn't be as long as Brad Pitt's or Angelina Jolie's, and that some of her roles could be more briefly mentioned. My suggestion would be to focus on the parts that really matter to Banks and/or the readers, and make it more concise.

Also, I'd like to share with you some stuff about the acting business. I have this close friend of mine whose father has been a theatre producer his whole life. He once told me, for actors to have lasting success, they need to work consistently with either real talents or real powers. I think Banks is very smart in balancing these two. I heard she just landed the much coveted role in Welcome to People. That would be the true testament for her career. If she nails it, she's gonna have a very bright future. And that's why I sometimes get frustrated by Hawke's reluctance to act in blockbusters. I mean, I deeply admire that, of course. But at the same time, his film career has suffered so much. My friend's father said this about Hawke, "He's an artist at heart; he SHOULD suffer." Hehe, Poor guy. They all somehow hold him to a very high standard.

...Anyway, I made some changes here, just FYI, you know, :p - Artoasis (talk) 11:48, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Great. I thought you hated my edits or something, :p. I heard she got that part, but I don't know if it's been disclosed by authoritative trade papers like Variety or HR. You know what's funny? A lot of my friends are inspiring actors/musicians! And I actually thought about it too, but then decided it's not for me. It's a really difficult path. I have a ton of sympathy and respect for real artists. They all go through a lot. If you're serious and determined about it, I wish you all the best. So, I'll just go ahead and add those to Hawke's article, now. Cheers, Blue. - Artoasis (talk) 02:02, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

30 Rock Season 5

Hi, I was just wondering if there's any reason why you changed my correction of the viewing figure for Brooklyn Without Limits back to the wrong one? 5.66 million does round up to 5.7, after all. RM-47 (talk) 00:05, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

30 Rock S4

Can you look at the last comments at the bottom of the FLC and perhaps work on them some? Since you wrote the episode articles, you might be able to handle this in half an hour whereas it would take me several. Thanks. Courcelles 05:26, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

AWESOME!!!

Thought you'd appreciate this:

Enjoy! NiciVampireHeart 01:53, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Hell yea I did that! It's not a travesty, it's freaking AWESOME!!!! Seriously though, nice picture isn't it? I was delighted when the uploader agreeed to change the licence! Hey, you remember the guy you persuaded to release photos of WM 24 and Raw a while back? The Nattie Neidhart/Shane McMahon ones? Do you think he'll agree to relicence some others? I want this and this. I'm trying to work though Category:Wikipedia requested photographs of professional wrestling performers and both AJ Lee and Josh Mathews need images. Along with 900 or so other articles. NiciVampireHeart 16:08, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
Well personally, I hope he has a really, really long title reign. :D Hmmm, alright I'll send him a message whenever I get a minute. I'm already pestering enough people on flickr to release images – I'm only waiting for responses from about 25. And that's a conservative estimate. Then, I've got about 50 more I plan to ask for. I think I bit off more than I can chew with this project of mine. :/ NiciVampireHeart 00:24, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
I'd like to get a long title reign, but I don't think he will. Up to the Royal Rumble max, I think. :( No, no, it's just that I'm still in touch with a few of the people I've asked to release images in the past, and I was wondering if you were too. 'Cause it would have been handy. Would you mind asking him? I'm in negoiations over one at the moment, and I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. I've m,anaged to get 2 released so far today though, which is pretty good going. Unforunately, it made no difference since I added a photo request to two articles today, so they pretty much cancel each other out. :( NiciVampireHeart 22:28, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

I is confused. :/ How does that work? How can he release the image for use on wikipedia without changing the license? NiciVampireHeart 17:24, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Oh, through OTRS? Is he going to do that this time? I'm sorry, by the way. I've just stuck you with a lot of extra work. NiciVampireHeart 15:59, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Really? I wouldn't know, I've never used OTRS. It's easier to get them to change the license I've found. *shrugs* I am busy, but I suspect you are too – your edit count seems to be dropping every month, so I feel bad. NiciVampireHeart 19:22, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Well I tend to neglect to mention the fact that is there another way of doing it, apart from them changing the license I mean I say something along the lines of 'I'd like to upload your image to use on wikipedia in the article ________. Unfortunately, your image is tagged as 'All Rights Reserved', so I cannot. Would you consider changing the license on the image to a Creative Commons Attribution or Creative Commons Sharealike license?' Sometimes they offer to email me the image, and I tell them that they'd have to follow the procedure at WP:OTRS (providing the link) and they usually just give up and change the license on flickr. People are naturally lazy. :) Which also explains the lack of replies I get. I hate that. When you send a message and people just ignore it? I'd rather they replied and went 'Sorry, but no'. At least that way I'd know I'm not getting the image. By the way, I don't suppose you have any wrestling images floating around? Any of these 1,162 people? *Hangs head and cries in despair* Oooh, exams. I've got them next week – luckily it's only 4, and I'm only really worried about one of them. Finished on Thursday, then holidays for 3 and a half weeks! Woohoo! :P NiciVampireHeart 07:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

<--Sorry, sorry. I went offline to concentrate on my exams. All done! Went pretty good I think - how 'bout you? Hope you did good. :) Oh don't worry. I'm sure images of them will become available eventually. Oakster passed on this to me – awesome quality, free photos. I'm in heaven. :D NiciVampireHeart 12:04, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Good, good! Glad to hear it. :) Which one? [2], [3], [4], or [5]? Or all of them? :) By the way, help. File:WWE Champion The Miz.jpg or File:The Miz 2010 Tribute to the Troops.jpg? NiciVampireHeart 16:07, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
I know. There's so many photos in the set – I'm gonna be uploading for a while. :) Well, I'll upload 1 and 3, amd you can decide then if you wanna switch one into the article. Alright, I'll go change it in his article. Btw, I apologise for forcing you to look at images of The Miz as champion. :) Can't be easy! :P NiciVampireHeart 16:23, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
I'll let you know when I get around to them. :) Yes, I know you hate The Miz.:) Hey, opinion. For the lead image in Cody Rhodes: File:Codyrhodes.jpg (the current one), File:Dashing Cody Rhodes 2010 Tribute to the Troops.jpg, or File:Cody Rhodes 2010 Tribute to the Troops.jpg? NiciVampireHeart 16:36, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Yea, I don't know either. I think I'll stick with them the way they are. Btw, File:Randy Orton Tribute to the Troops 2010.jpg and File:Randy Orton 2010 Tribute to the Troops.jpg. Considering you uploaded a crop of the first one though, I suspect you've already seen them. Apologies for not leaving a message sooner. NiciVampireHeart 08:20, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Hope so. :) Yea, I saw that ip – really fucking annoying actually. I uploaded the images I could see a place for in the article, and then by the time I went to add them, they'd all been added. And not very well either, I had to fix most of them. *rolls eyes* Yea, I like the current one in his article too. No, I didn't see it. I know it's up on youtube, but it's like two matches, and the rest of it is P Diddy/Trace Adkins/other random people I have no interest in, so I haven't bothered to watch it. NiciVampireHeart 00:41, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

<--Yep, yep. Exactly. :) You don't need to be bitter - not with 690 edits and counting to Randy's article! Hmmm, I don't recall seeing his name in the results on SLAM!, but that was only a 1-hour show on Saturday night. An extended two-hour show is airing this Wednesday, so he might be in that. He was definetly there though:

. Oooh, got it --> [6] – doesn't explicitly name him,. but says DX reunion. NiciVampireHeart 22:40, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

You're welcome. :) I remembered reading something about Tribute to the Troops spoilers, so I went hunting. :) Btw, the Shawn Michaels says he returned on December 18 for TTTT – the show was taped December 11, and since a second version aired last night, I'd change it to 'at the December 11 tapings' or something along those lines for clarity. Especially since he didn't appear on the December 18 version! I uploaded that one 'specially for you! I was kind of debating whether or not to, since there are so many images already of him on commons, but what the hell. :) Shawn in a Santa hat makes you feel Christmassy huh? Yes, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too. :) Hope you get snow. Have some of the two foot of snow we have that means I can't get out of my house! :( Nah, The Miz all the way! NiciVampireHeart 15:37, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Btw, 'Blue can I get yhour help with something? When you click on http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/dolphziggler/bio/ what weight do you see? It's been brought to my attention at User talk:NiciVampireHeart#Dolph Ziggler that I'm seeing something different to someone in Ottawa. I'm wondering if it's a continental difference. Thanks, NiciVampireHeart 18:24, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Yea, I was kinda suprised too. Good to see him again though. He looks good! Yep, sentence makes perfect sense. :) Oh, really? It was snowing here throughout the end of November, and then we got like a 10 day thaw. Then it started snowing again. It's ridiclous. Half the roads in the country are impassable, airports are closed, trains/buses/Luas aren't running. *rolls eyes* It's insane. Third time this year we've had crazy amounts of snow. And to think like 2/3 years ago, we hadn't had a decent amount of snow in over 10 years. Yea, can't leave. Well, I can obviously, but the road into town is so covered in ice and snow, even four-wheel drives are having problems. That the thing about living on a hill. :( Yep, plenty of beer and a good amount of vodka. :) It'll be a good christmas! Yea, yea, yea. Hey did you see the ladder match between the Irish 'fella' and Morrison? Damn good match. Pretty good pay-per-view overall actually. I was suprised – I actually enjoyed a Divas match. *shocked face* Ok, I wasn't sure. I don't know what's going on wwe.com. *sigh* They can never make it easy huh? NiciVampireHeart 18:54, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Hey! And just in time for Christmas! An unexpected present. :) Thank you! Yep, yep. It's actually that not cold over here – or, more precisely, it doesn't feel that cold. Thawed slightly today, but still pretty much stuck. That's the plan for the beer and vodka anyway! :) I dunno, I'd probably say the 4-way TLC for the WHC was the match of the ppv. And Del Rio took a crazy bump in that one too! I wouldn't say that! I knew Cena was going to win, but it was still annoying. All the chairs raining down on Barrett afterwards was a great visual though. Slightly crazy. NiciVampireHeart 21:20, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
Merry Christmas!! I hope you have a good one! I really appreciate it 'Blue. :) It's nice to cross them off the list. Only 1186 to go! Mmmmm, Baileys. Nice choice. Yep, I got plenty of coke too. Just because I like coke. :) No, no, Del Rio's not injured – I think – he just took a crazy bump. Reminded me of the good old days of TLC matches. :D I quite like him, I must admit. Mainly because of his accent, there's something really sexy about a Hispanic accent. :) Me likey!! Yea, he is so like JBL – especially with the cars. Though, JBL never had a personal ring announcer. Well, let's be honest here, Del Rio doesn't do that pyro as well as Randy! I hope that's not the end of Barrett or Nexus the very, very pretty Paul Lloyd, Jr. (photo in his article does not do him justice btw). I pissed off about Kaval being released though – I like him. Hope he goe back to ROH! NiciVampireHeart 22:24, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

"Misery" actually did not fare that well on my ipod. The initial response was too good and I played it like 30 times. But then I got bored of it pretty quickly. I don't know, but somehow their album feels like a compilation of rejects from Songs About Jane and IWBSTL. Hope Timberlake and Madonna releases something soon. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:46, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Season 4 GTC

I made up the book for this tonight, Book:30 Rock (season 4), so the only thing really left for the GTC is the task of tagging 23 talk pages. Easy enough to do, but tedious. Will do tomorrow night if you don't. Courcelles 07:12, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

There you go, Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/30 Rock (season 4)/archive1! Courcelles 21:15, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm an admin. That's prima facie evidence of a capacity for tedious, boring work; which doing anything for a large FT/GT nom is! ;) Courcelles 21:35, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
(tps) Maybe I should cut out the talk page tagging sans for the main article; less work on both ends that way. (Oh goody, you guys gave me more work to do, haha). Wizardman Operation Big Bear 22:41, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Naah, at least on your end. The FT process is invisible enough as it is, without not begin tagged in each article's AH. In the "pie in the sky" vein, though, I wonder if the FTC/GTC process could be transformed into something like featured.good books, now that we have the separate book namespace, and no way to recognise the good ones, like we do portals. New section for a new year

Fireworks! For no reason, other than they're really pretty! And I thought you'd prefer this than a photo of The Miz! :P

Happy New Year! Here's hoping it's not as busy as last year! Though, I'm going on placement for 10 weeks starting January 10, so that's a vain hope. :( Hope you had a good Christmas. Mind was excellent right up until my laptop broke yesterday. Again. *Sigh* Anyway, thanks again for begging for the images! I do appreciate it. :) Oh really? I've always wanted to learn Spanish, but never got around to it. English, Irish, and very basic French only. Yep, Randy graduated from very cool fireworks to a very slow, loooong walk down the ramp. Yep, yep. I know. Stupid isn't it? Have you heard they're bringing back WWE Tough Enough? NiciVampireHeart 09:00, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

You had a nice long break from wikipedia. :) Recovering after New Year's Eve? *wink* Feeling all refreshed and ready to argue with morons as per usual? Yep, yep. Awesome. So, falls count anywhere match tonight - Miz v Morrison. Come on the Awesome One! Yes, again. It's a very crap laptop. Might be able to get it repaired by Thursday. :( So getting a new one for my birthday. Or sooner, if I can magic up a couple of hundred euro. Is it? I always hated learning French. It's a horrible language. There's the past tense, the simple past tense, some other past tense I've forgotten... Horrible language. Hey, hey. 15 minutes on a good day! More time to ogle him though, so it's not all bad. That was one of my favourite things about The Legacy - Randy and Cody walking really, really, really slowly down to the ring. :D The interesting thing about Tough Enough is that it's not just gonna be wrestlers from Florida Championship Wrestling (all of whom I've seen before - the FCW tv show is put up on youtube). Apparently loads of indy wrestlers have applied to be on it as well. Should make for a more interesting show than NXT. Did you see last weeks talent contest? I died a little inside watching it. Still better than season three though.... NiciVampireHeart 09:05, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
I thought so. :) I was a good(ish) girl on New Years. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Miz is awesome!!!! Did ya see Raw? Or least heard the results? Especially the Morrison/Miz one? :D Miz is awesome!!!! Another Orton/Miz match coming up at RR to look forward to as well. It was a good night. Yea, I did 9 years of French between primary and sceondary school. 9. Painful in the extreme. Of course, my school was so crap that French was the only language option available. *rolls eyes* I'm curious to see if I do recognise any of the people in Tough Enough. I'd get a kick out of seeing some of the more obscure indy guys in it. :) Yea, it was on NXT last week. It was horrendous. Horrendous. NiciVampireHeart 13:51, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to the 2011 WikiCup!

Hello, happy new year and welcome to the 2011 WikiCup! Your submissions' page can be found here and instructions of how to update the page can be found here and on the submissions' page itself. From the submissions' page, a bot will update the main scoresheet. Our rules have been very slightly updated from last year; the full rules can be found here. Please remember that you can only receive points for content on which you have done significant work in 2011; nominations of work from last year and "drive-by" nominations will not be awarded points. Signups are going to remain open through January, so if you know of anyone who would like to take part, please direct them to Wikipedia:WikiCup/2011 signups. The judges can be contacted on the WikiCup talk page, on their respective talk pages, or by email. Other than that, we will be in contact at the end of every month with the newsletter. If you want to stop or start receiving newsletters, please remove your name from or add your name to this list. Good luck! J Milburn and The ed17 13:00, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey I had one question regarding your submission here. I thought that the GT could be claimed for articles developed in 2011. Would you mind clarifying it with the judges? I have already asked J Milburn regarding this. Btw, how are you? Excited for Coldplay's new release? — Legolas (talk2me) 06:52, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

New TV Episode Task Force assessment table

Hey ThinkBlue! Just wanted to bring your attention to this and this. — Hunter Kahn 02:59, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey. A couple of editors have raised concerns about this topic; it was not nominated this year, and I wonder how many of those articles were worked on significantly by you this year. Sorry, but it doesn't look like you can claim any of them. J Milburn (talk) 14:13, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. It's an impressive topic, something to be proud of. I'm already thinking about how we can streamline the points for next year to stop this kind of thing... J Milburn (talk) 19:46, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm not dead

Hey, I know the above title seems weird, I was looking for something interesting to place. Though, I haven't been on here in over a month, thought to clear it up in case you were wondering I wasn't dead, just extremely busy. Plus my computer is near death, and is getting worked on. Anyway, I thought to drop by and ask how my closest wiki friend is doing? Also, if she needs any help with anything or wants to work on something together? I hope to write again soon, I kind of miss it.--WillC 07:25, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Yeah sorry about that. I shouldn't write messages to people in the middle of the night, insomnia makes me a bit crazy. Wait, facebook? Are you tell me you and I are friends on there and I didn't know it? Is this you? I'm glad to hear school is good and that you are stress free. Well I actually expected more stuff to be screwed up when I got back on here, but Cage's, Edge's, and the TNA articles didn't have much of anything wrong with them. Which I guess is good, probably all thanks to you. Well been stressed and busy. Not sure if I told you I was home schooled, but I was and finished that. I got my GED thankfully. I plan to go to college soon, but I want to take some time off. Get a job, save some money, etc. A friend of mine is going to get me a good paying job to have. I worked for him stripping tobacco this fall and winter, he likes me. Thinks I'm a reliable hardworking kid, so I'm glad there. Had some medical issues with myself and my dad had a heart attack, and I'm the one who found him having it. So that was a mess last month. Glad that is over. But other than that stuff, been reading some books and studying history. I'm hugely into politics now, and read constantly about history or government in one way or another. Was reading Bush's new book, now reading Hitler's Mein Kampf to see what was going through his mind. Plan to read the Communist Manifesto. Maybe soon, when my computer is back I'll be able to start writing again on here. Maybe I'll finish Gangrel like I promised. So what else have you been working on?:)--WillC 06:31, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
Fine with me, I wasn't drunk, maybe I was, idk. Wow, if I had known that was you I would have said something to you by now. I just thought it was another random person. I feel a bit bad now. Okay, I just assumed you were watching over Cage and Edge from time to time. Most tell me I won't go. But I will if I can. Just not that into it now. So many things I'd like to do first. Save money, write a book or two, read, hang out with my beautiful girl, etc. If I were to go to college right now, I'd major in Law and Business, minor in World History, economics, medicine (I don't want to be a doctor or anything, just want to know how to save someone and help the best I can), culinary arts. At this time that are my choices, but could change a bit. All I know is I plan to be a senator and maybe even something more one day. Okay, well if you need anything just tell me. Anything, a copyedit, review, etc.--WillC 08:45, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I got my computer back today, so I'm free to talk more on there, plus work on here. Believe me, I don't let people put me down. My young years I went through that, now I'm smarter and bigger. If someone screws with me, I tend to just make them cry. No violence, no real insults, just looking into their eyes and seeing their deepest darkest fears and feelings. I tend tell them what they are thinking. Try it some time, it is a bit fun. Senator, maybe more. I'd like to run for POTUS in 17 years. The one thing that stands in my way is money. But I got a plan for that too. Read this to get an idea of my views--WillC 00:16, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Well for as much as I can I'm back. I just try to make them question their existence or their meaning, it effects more than a simple insult. Well if I become POTUS, I'll have to invite you over sometime. Yeah, but I'm more of a centerist these days. Try to remain in the middle, but I can't really stop leaning to one side.--WillC 05:34, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Ethan Hawke

Hey, I was editing the Ethan Hawke page (I just created an account, "bixbettwy," but my earlier edits were done under an IP address ... I'm new at this). I understand your edits in the "stage" section. I happen to work for Ethan, so I understand that some of my edits may not have been completely neutral. However, some of your revisions are inaccurate ... 1) His son's name is not Levon "Roan," it's Levon Green 2) He is no longer attached to the projects "Number Station" or "A Late Quartet." 3) I'm not sure why you deleted the stuff I put in about "Exit Strategy." He's filming that pilot in March, and this can be verified by several sources. I look forward to hearing from you, thanks! Bix.bettwy (talk) 19:01, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

First of all, yes, I would say my relationship to Mr. Hawke constitutes a "conflict of interest." However, my understanding of the proper etiquette in this situation is that I'm supposed to disclose my intentions. My intentions are limited to ensuring that Mr. Hawke is represented accurately on wikipedia, which is perhaps the most used source for information about him, both inside and outside the industry. I am perplexed by the amount of information out there that has his son's middle name listed as "Roan." Apparently there is a reason for the confusion (can't go into details), however the fact is that Levon's name on his birth certificate is "Levon Green Hawke." I understand that you cannot take my word for it, and I will do my best to provide you with a reliable source. However, I wonder if, in the time being, the middle name could be omitted. Again, I understand if you cannot do this (though I know it would especially make Levon happy, as he is rather upset by the confusion it has caused). I see that you found better sources for the Exit Strategy portion, thank you. I can't seem to find any evidence of Ethan having left "Number Station" (though I assure you, he has) ... as for "Late Quartet," I don't have time to search for a "reliable" source today, but I would point you to imdb.com which does not have Mr. Hawke listed in the cast and has links to several articles verifying that he has, indeed, dropped out of the project and been replaced by another actor. I will continue my search and hopefully find a reliable source to verify that. One other point, which I had not yet corrected ... Ethan's dad, James, no longer works for Conseco, he works for Torchmark. It's a bit hard to find a reference, as there's no reason for him to be in the public eye. There's a Torchmark document online with his name on it, but that's about it. I would think, if you're not comfortable adding Torchmark to the page, Conseco should be taken off, as the reference listed is a little out of date (and I'm surprised that a "bio" page on tmc.com qualifies as a "reliable source"). Thanks, and sorry for being long-winded! Bix.bettwy (talk) 20:58, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Re: Levon's name ... Ethan's management company send over a scan of Levon's social security card (with the first 7 digits whited out). I'm not sure how to get this to you or how to use it as a source, but one way or the other it's pretty compelling proof that the name is "Levon Green Thurman-Hawke." Let me know how we can handle this best, thanks! Bix.bettwy (talk) 21:29, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey, Blue. I just read the exchange you had with Bix.bettwy. I tend to believe she/he indeed works for Hawke, and there's definitely a COI issue here. I've suggested another way to try to resolve this, through an interview or a profile piece in a reliable publication. Hopefully it could help promote the article's accuracy. As for the addition to the stage career section, I wrote a version earlier, which I was planning to add after the show closes in February. Could you check it out and give me some feedback? Cheers. - Artoasis (talk) 11:44, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi there. Have you got the time to read it? I just thought the NYPost's review was borderline POV stuff, so I wrote another version to focus on the play instead. What do you think? - Artoasis (talk) 03:32, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Wikipedia Ambassador Program is looking for new Online Ambassadors

Hi! Since you've been identified as an Awesome Wikipedian, I wanted to let you know about the Wikipedia Ambassador Program, and specifically the role of Online Ambassador. We're looking for friendly Wikipedians who are good at reviewing articles and giving feedback to serve as mentors for students who are assigned to write for Wikipedia in their classes.

If that sounds like you and you're interested, I encourage you to take a look at the Online Ambassador guidelines; the "mentorship process" describes roughly what will be expected of mentors during the current term, which started in January and goes through early May. If that's something you want to do, please apply!

You can find instructions for applying at WP:ONLINE. The main things we're looking for in Online Ambassadors are friendliness, regular activity (since mentorship is a commitment that spans several months), and the ability to give detailed, substantive feedback on articles (both short new articles, and longer, more mature ones).

I hope to hear from you soon.--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 01:23, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

WikiCup 2011 January newsletter

We are half way through round one of the WikiCup. Signups are now closed, and we have 129 listed competitors, 64 of whom will make it to round two. Congratulations to The Bushranger (submissions), who, at the time of writing, has a comfortable lead with 228 points, followed by Zanzibar Hurricanehink (submissions), with 144 points. Four others have over 100 points. Congratulations also go to Greece Yellow Evan (submissions), who scored the first points in the competition, claiming for Talk:Hurricane King/GA1, Principality of Sealand Miyagawa (submissions), who scored the first non-review points in the competition, claiming for Dognapping, and United Kingdom Jarry1250 (submissions) who was the first in the competition to use our new "multiplier" mechanic (explanation), claiming for Grigory Potemkin, a subject covered on numerous Wikipedias. Thanks must also go to Jarry1250 for dealing with all bot work- without you, the competition wouldn't be happening!

A running total of claims can be seen here. However, numerous competitors are yet to score at all- please remember to submit content soon after it is promoted, so that the judges are able to review entries. The number of points that will be needed to reach round two is not clear- everyone needs to get their entries in now to guarantee their places! If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, or by email. Good luck! WikiProject Good Articles will be running a GAN backlog elimination drive for the entire month of March. The goal of this drive is to bring the number of outstanding Good Article nominations down to below 50. This will help editors in restoring confidence to the GAN process as well as actively improving, polishing, and rewarding good content. If you are interested in participating in the drive, please place your name here. Awards will be given out to those who review certain numbers of GANs as well as to those who review the most. On behalf of my co-coordinator Wizardman, we hope we can see you in March. MuZemike delivered by MuZebot 23:54, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

WikiCup 2011 February newsletter

So begins round two of the WikiCup! We now have eight pools, each with eight random contestants. This round will continue until the end of April, when the top two of each pool, as well as the next 16 highest scorers of those remaining, will make it to round three. Congratulations to The Bushranger (submissions) (first, with 487 points) and Zanzibar Hurricanehink (submissions) (second, with 459), who stormed the first round. Scotland Casliber (submissions) finished third with 223. Twelve others finished with over 100 points- well done to all of you! The final standings in round one can be seen here. A mere 8 points were required to reach round two; competition will no doubt be much more fierce this round, so be ready for a challenge! A special thanks goes, again, to United Kingdom Jarry1250 (submissions) for dealing with all bot work. This year's bot, as well as running smoothly, is doing some very helpful things that last year's did not. Also, thanks to Bavaria Stone (submissions) for some helpful behind-the-scenes updating and number crunching.

Some news for those who are interested- March will see a GAN backlog elimination drive, which you are still free to join. Organised by WikiProject Good articles, the drive aims to minimise the GAN backlog and offers prizes to those who help out. Of course, you may well be able to claim WikiCup points for the articles you review as part of the drive. Also ongoing is the Great Backlog Drive, looking to work on clearing all of the backlogs on Wikipedia; again, incentives are offered, and the spirit of friendly competition is alive, while helping the encyclopedia is the ultimate aim. Though unrelated to the WikiCup, these may well be of interest to some of you.

Just a reminder of the rules; if you have done significant work on content this year and it is promoted in this round, you may claim for it. Also, anything that was promoted after the end of round one but before the beginning of round two may be claimed for in round two. Details of the rules can be found on this page. For those interested in statistics, a running total of claims can be seen here, and a very interesting table of that information (along with the highest scorers in each category) can be seen here. Hey Blue, how are ya? Seems like ages since we last chatted. We really ought to find a project to work on together sometime when I can go five minutes without someone editing my talk page! ;) Anyway, I just thought I'd drop you a note because I happen to have mentioned your name here. WikiCup 2011 March newsletter

We are half way through round two of the WikiCup, which will end on 28 April. Of the 64 current contestants, 32 will make it through to the next round; the two highest in each pool, and the 16 next highest scorers. At the time of writing, our current overall leader is Zanzibar Hurricanehink (submissions) with 231 points, who leads Pool H. Poland Piotrus (submissions) (Pool G) also has over 200 points, while 9 others (three of whom are in Pool D) have over 100 points. Remember that certain content (specifically, articles/portals included in at least 20 Wikipedias as of 31 December 2010 or articles which are considered "vital") is worth double points if promoted to good or featured status, or if it appears on the main page in the Did You Know column. There were some articles last round which were eligible for double points, but which were not claimed for. For more details, see Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring.

A running total of claims can be seen here. WikiCup 2011 April newsletter

Round 2 of the 2011 WikiCup is over, and the new round will begin on 1 May. Note that any points scored in the interim (that is, for content promoted or reviews completed on 29-30 April) can be claimed in the next round, but please do not start updating your submissions' pages until the next round has begun. Fewer than a quarter of our original contestants remain; 32 enter round 3, and, in two months' time, only 16 will progress to our penultimate round. Scotland Casliber (submissions), who led Pool F, was our round champion, with 411 points, while 7 contestants scored between 200 and 300 points. At the other end of the scale, a score of 41 was high enough to reach round 3; more than five times the score required to reach round 2, and competition will no doubt become tighter now we're approaching the later rounds. Those progressing to round 3 were spread fairly evenly across the pools; 4 progressed from each of pools A, B, E and H, while 3 progressed from both pools C and F. Pools D and G were the most successful; each had 5 contestants advancing.

This round saw our first good topic points this year; congratulations to Zanzibar Hurricanehink (submissions) and Assyrian people Nergaal (submissions) who also led pool H and pool B respectively. However, there remain content types for which no points have yet been scored; featured sounds, featured portals and featured topics. In addition to prizes for leaderboard positions, the WikiCup awards other prizes; for instance, last year, a prize was awarded to Democratic Republic of the Congo Candlewicke (submissions) (who has been eliminated) for his work on In The News. For this reason, working on more unusual content could be even more rewarding than usual!

Sorry this newsletter is going out a little earlier than expected- there is a busy weekend coming up! A running total of claims can be seen here. Lost

As you have done GA reviews for Lost articles before, can you take a look at The Constant, which I've put on peer review? Thanks. igordebraga 18:06, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Don't know if you'll remember me...

... it's been so long!! Hi 'Blue! What's shaking? Life really kind caught us for the past five months or so, huh? I'm all finished college for the summer though, so now all I have to do is find a job so I can afford rent for next year. Just my luck that Dublin is one of only two counties where the rents have increased over the past year, huh? So, tell, how's life treating ya? Working on anything interesting on wiki atm? I'm struggling to bother sending articles to GA anymore. There's only about 50+ articles in the Sports section atm. I nommed Elimination Chamber (2010) back in March, and it's only at 7 (and has been for a while). Nobody seems to be reviewing at the moment. Oh heads up, User talk:NiciVampireHeart#Diva Champions GT. You helped out on a few of those article right? I mentioned to Nikki that you did, but I really wasn't arsed to go look up diffs/reviews/whatevers, so I figured I'd drop you a line, see which ones you remember working on. A 10 article GT; c'est impressive, non? Think the biggest one I'd worked on was the Spirit Squad, but doubtless you've got some television series GTs with 20/30 articles under your belt! It's been ages since we worked on something together. You wanna formulate a plan of action for the summer? See if we can get back on the horse, so to speak. NiciVampireHeart 16:00, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Hey, hey! I wasn't expecting such a quick response. I saw you'd been off-wiki for over a week, so this was a pleasant suprise! Ooh, next week, huh? Bet you can't wait! Yea, there's a full month of exams sceduled for Trinity, but mine were over and done with within a week! Score!!! :P Hope so. :) Ah, poor 'Blue. Really? I thought you did more. Hmmm, I guess it's just 'cause I'm so used to working on GAs with you that I just assumed. Good, good. You do get to help choose by the way. :) I'm easy, you know that! Hey if you have time, can you swing by Talk:Dolph Ziggler#Removal of Jumping Russian Legsweep from Ziggler's Finishing Moves, as it is the same move as the Zig Zag (Reverse Bulldog), but JRL is a worse description, where I just had to had answer 4 questions which were laid out in such as way as to "make [it] very clear to [me]" what was going on, and chuck in your 2 cents? I'd appreciate someone else helping out in dealing with this editor – I'm very sick of being patronised, and his constant "I'm only new here, be nice to me" I'm paraphrasing is getting really irritating. The Downward Spiral GA review?

Hi, I'm '| () () `'/ I> (talk). I recently just broke a tree to your talk page for advice that User:IHelpWhenICan didn't respond to resume a Good Article review on a Nine Inch Nails album named The Downward Spiral. How about you check the article, and give me a GA review of the article, okay? '| () () `'/ I> (talk) 19:53, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

WWE Divas Championship Good Topic

Hey Blue! Just letting you know that I'm going to be nominating the WWE Divas Championship as a Good Topic pretty soon. You helped with some of the articles of the Divas who have held the title, so I wanted to give you the heads up. Nikki311 01:35, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Kung Fu Panda

Since you reviewed the GAN for Kung Fu Panda, I thought I'd let you know that I put it up for GAR here because I don't think it meets the criteria anymore. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 19:01, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

WikiCup 2011 May newsletter

We're half way through round 3 of the 2011 WikiCup. There are currently 32 remaining in the competition, but only 16 will progress to our penultimate round. Scotland Casliber (submissions), of pool D, is our overall leader with nearly 200 points, while pools A, B and C are led by Texas Racepacket (submissions), Zanzibar Hurricanehink (submissions) and Saskatchewan Canada Hky (submissions) respectively. The score required to reach the next round is 35, though this will no doubt go up significantly as the round progresses. We have a good number of high scorers, but also a considerable number who are yet to score. Please remember to submit content soon after it is promoted, so that the judges are able to review entries. Also, an important note concerning nominations at featured article candidates: if you are nominating content for which you intend to claim WikiCup points, please make this clear in the nomination statement so that the FAC director and his delegates are aware of the fact.

A running total of claims can be seen here. Good luck! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. J Milburn and The ed17 23:38, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
